KOI Cafe bubble tea + Kbox

Heard so much nice comments about this KOI Cafe that sells bubble tea originated from Taiwan and since we are there at Chinatown, decided to drop by its' outlet at People Park Complex and give it a try. Well, though it doesn't offer as much flavours as perhaps Sweet Talk, the taste of the tea is very real. Not only does it comes with 3 different sizes, they also had a sugar level. At the point of ordering, they will asked you for your preference of sugar level. For me, I am the kind who must drink sweet sweet one, so I choose the full sugar, 100%!!! Haha. One thing to bear in mind is that, they are not very efficient in their service. We waited for about 15 minutes before our queue number 286 was called. Not very used to waiting that long for bubble tea. Also, they gave alot of pearls that even when the drinks are almost finished, there's still enough pearls to go along not like Sweet Talk but the pearls are smaller in size.

.........................................................................................

After we bought the bubble tea, we went opposite to Lucky Chinatown to meet Lis and Cyn for our Kbox session. Incidentally, we wanted to practiced singing for the upcoming A*Mei concert. However, I don't really sing her songs? LOL. Give me Jay Chou (might have concert in July *Hee) and I can even sing without looking at the lyrics. Haha. Don't know why, this kbox room was just as terrible or maybe worse than my previous one at Marina Square. For this one the TV is super small and it's so hard to find the artist we want, some more, most of them are unknown artist with no photos. To make things worst, the air-con was on at a unbearable temperature, when I tried to tell the service staff to lower, he could only provide an explanation that the air-con is centralised one. Come on, then go adjust on that centralised one la. So cold how to sing! Oh and at one point, the staff came in and asked us to take a customised photo with the what kbox photo frame which would cost I think $2 (didn't bothered to hear the price). So I told her we are not interested and at the same time ask her to help us take a group photo using our own camera. She continued to say, and later print out on our kbox frame ya? We all don't want and in the end she walked out without helping us to take our photo! Really angry can. Just because we didn't purchases the KBOX frame she don't help us with our request. Lousy service. I think must be this kbox at Chinatown one no business so must do this kind of extra services to earn more. ZZZ. I rather spend a bit more and go to K Suite at iLuma or Kbox at Jurong Safra. At least Jurong Safra one is quite new so I bet their rooms will be better.
