Tiffany & Co Sparkling Bridal Event

♢ DIAMOND

Tell that to a kid and the kid would probably show you a game of Diamond Dash.

However, it became a much significant thing when it is set on a ring like this.

TIFFANY® SETTING ENGAGEMENT RING

Of all the hundreds of recognized gemstones in the world only diamonds are used on an engagement ring. An enduring symbol of love and commitment. It's romantic and practical, purity and love. This famous Tiffany® Setting was introduced in 1886 by founder Charles Lewis Tiffany which has now become a trend that grew into tradition.

TIFFANY BEZET DIAMOND RING
Previously, diamond rings were set in bezels like the one above. To highlight the extraordinary beauty of brilliant-cut diamonds, the king of diamonds, Mr. Tiffany came up with the innovative setting of six platinum prongs that lifted the stone off the band so that light can shine through (As shown in the Tiffany Setting engagement ring).

Due to Tiffany's reputation for the highest quality diamonds and design excellence, more and more women dream of getting this magical Tiffany Blue Box® and of course the diamond ring inside. It's just the perfect proposal one could ever have.

I was very privileged to attend the bridal event hosted by Tiffany & Co. at Takashimaya Shopping Centre with the help of Jessie, who got me the invite. It's a showcase of the ultimate engagement rings, jewelry and gifts for a brilliant once in a lifetime wedding.

Celebrating 175 years as the jeweler of true love, not only are their jewelries designed in beauty and style. Look at how pretty the confectionery are too! All in Tiffany's blue and white colour code. Simply too cute to be eaten! Must take photo first.

Jessie and I with the pretty confectionery. We really didn't dare to eat them in the beginning.

WHITE LIGHT
"The beauty of any diamond is largely determined by the amount of white light returned to the eye. The mission of every Tiffany diamond is to maximize that brilliance."

Tiffany & Co. also have their own gemological laboratory and is regularly certified by independent quality system auditors from the (ISO) International Organization Standardization.

The measure of true diamonds are commonly referred to "4C'S"
Cut, Clarity, Color and Carat.

Before the bridal presentation show starts, we were free to walk around and try on some of the rings there. Me posing with the diamond ring I picked but you probably can't see it too clearly here.

So I took another photo. Awww. No wonder they say diamonds are a girl's best friend. The moment I put this heart shaped diamond ring on my finger, I just felt so excited and happy already. Look at how sparkling it is.

And the price doesn't come cheap too. Told bf about it and he say he can buy for me provided he don't spend a single cent for four years. Ok, time to find sponsors!!! Oh. The funny thing is due to my occupation, the first sight of the acronym actually makes me think of Platinum, Healthshield, Disability Income. =_= He corrected me that it's Platinum, Heartshape, Diamond, Ring. Fine, work makes me stupid.

Tiffany's Cocktails.

Let the presentation begins. One important point to note when wearing a veil is to set your hair lifted so that the veil will be kept away from lashes.

First to present with the princess gown. Classic with pearls.

Second to come out in a modern gown. No beads and lace but pleated.

Third one wears a gorgeous mermaid style gown. Look at the "fish tail." There's wire inside the gown to create this look.

Forth gown comes with a sheer back. More romantic with a fairy tale feeling. Flowers and shimmer to the gown. I like.

Evening gown. Most Chinese does not like the colour black but mix it with gold and this is the final outcome. Classy.

Not forgetting our traditional Cheong Sum. Moddern and sexy. Perfect with a pair of chandelier earrings.

CAMWHORE TIME

Haha. We really took a lot of photos with the props there. So fun!

Special Thanks to Tiffany & Co once again.

Wow, the event looks brilliant. Thanks for sharing these pictures with us! Well, we have been quite busy these days as we are planning our DIY wedding. Recently we visited some local NYC wedding venues and booked prettiest rustic themed location. We are just so eager for our big day.
