[Media Preview] LG's 2016 Home Appliances Lineup

Was invited to the exclusive media preview of LG's 2016 Home Appliances Lineup held at Meeting Room 301-302 of Suntec Convention Center. 

A range of home appliances such as state-of-the-art LG Styler clothing care system, TWIN Wash washing machines, side-by-side refrigerators were being showcased there. Will introduce these household appliances in this post.

LG STYLER 

(Steam Clothing Care System)

The LG Styler is a clothing care system that uses True Steam, to refresh and manage Suits, Blouses, Coats & Uniforms which are not easy to wash every day. Given Singapore's humid weather, the LG Styler is indeed the perfect solution for the busy Singaporeans to have hygienic and fresh smelling clothes without the need to engage in tedious household chores.

Equipped with LG TrueSteam™ technology, the Styler is able to sanitize clothes, remove wrinkles and eliminate unpleasant odors left behind by smoke, food and sweat. In addition, the Styler is also equipped with the Moving Hanger which operates at 180 revolutions per minute! This shaking process further aids in the elimination of any odors and remove wrinkles, evening out the crease in the process. 

Meanwhile, there is even a special door compartment for the Easy Pants Crease Care feature that removes wrinkles formed behind the knees after a long day, keeping the pants looking crisp.

Another nifty feature is the Gentle Dry with Inverter Heat Pump System. One can now gently dry special-care clothing like towels or cashmere sweaters without worrying about shrinkage or damage with the low temperature drying system.

Sending my Cony White for a round of Sanitization with the LG Styler. The Styler's effective steam sterilization is certified by the British Allergy Foundation (BAF), a renowned product testing organization.

Available in White, the Styler will retail at S$2,999 in Singapore from June 2016 onward.

LG TWIN LOAD WASHERS

(Wash two loads at the same time)

The LG TWIN Wash™ enables two separate loads to be washed simultaneous by combining a full-sized front loading washing machine with a mini washer in a hide-away pedestal. Now, there is no need to worry about colour runs, just separate out your whites and coloured clothes and wash them all at one go. Smaller loads can be washed using the mini washer when needed without having to wait for a full wash load. This is ideal for delicate or special items such as lingerie or baby clothes. Do more laundry with fewer loads with up to 21kg mega capacity, that a king-size comforter and full set of king bedding can fit in a single load.  

LG SIDE-BY-SIDE REFRIGERATORS

(Promise larger storage capacity)

LG unveiled its latest Veyron 6 series of Side-by-Side refrigerators with more than 600 liters of storage capacity. Consumers can either choose a premium metal finish or a stunning black stainless steel that is both fingerprint and scratch resistant.

The new redesigned Door-in-Door™ Compartment is now larger in size with lesser cold air loss. This helps to keep those frequently sought after food and beverages within easy reach via accessing a smaller door located on the main refrigerator door frame. The usage of the smaller door reduces the number of times needed to access the main storage compartment and reduces cold air loss by up to 41 percent.
