Aroma Truffle & Co was founded with passion by three brothers Kenny Chan, Jonathan Chan and Kayson Chan who believes that luxury can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere. With their dedication to create gourmet snacks using the finest ingredients, one can be sure to find REAL Italian Black Truffle bits in every bag of their hand-cooked potato chips as the chips' truffles are air-flown from a partner's truffle farm in Spoleto, Italy.

Since its launch in late August 2018, more than 100,000 bags of Aroma Truffle's hand-cooed truffle chips have been sold both online and through their kiosk and pushcart. Thus, the decision to open their first boutique outlet at Chinatown Point which also serves as a pick up location for customer who placed their orders online. This location was chosen as it is located within the heart of Singapore and the brothers hope that Aroma Truffle will become an iconic local brand that even tourists will want to buy some and bring back home.
"We noticed that truffle was becoming an increasingly popular flavor. Truffle is extravagant because of its extremely short shelf-life. I wanted to create a decadent truffle experience that is affordable, and can be enjoyed anywhere." said Jonathan Chan, Chef, Aroma Truffle & Co.
Jonathan has spent half a year sourcing for the right truffle partners and the team has experimented with close to 60 recipe variations before deciding on their special truffle flavored recipe. The main ingredient, Black Summer truffles, has a rich woody aroma with flavors of garlic, wild mushroom and earthy hazelnut undertones. The bag of chips also includes herbs and spices such as parsley, dill, garlic and sea salt.
Business was really good when I went down to visit during the official launch. Currently, only the Original and Parmesan flavored truffle chips are sold for S$10 per packet at the boutique.

The answer is Black Summer Truffle Potato Chips (Honey Mustard) which is my favourite of all three. It is so addictive even Rena loves it so much and would not let me take it away from her. We were also introduced to the Truffle Butter which is not for sale.
Beside truffle chips, the brothers are also working on creating an affordable range of truffle seasoning so that consumers can add a hint of truffle to their daily meals like the refreshments we had. This sure is something for the truffle lovers out there to look forward to.
