This year is BRAND'S® 180th anniversary, and in celebration they have partnered World Vision International and aims to raise S$180,000 and sponsor 180 kids across the region including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan and China in 2015. This regional Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative marks BRAND'S® 180 years of commitment in providing overall wellness and in helping people to unlock their potential for a greater life.
In Singapore, the funds will be utilized to support 20 underprivileged children through World Vision's Child Sponsorship Program and to finance leadership training for nearly 1000 humanitarian-minded local youths in Singapore through World Vision's 30-hour Famine Programme who advocate for disadvantaged regional children.
BRAND'S® encourage the public to join in this good cause by initiating a BRAND'S® Hope In A Bottle Campaign. This campaign was later held as an event at The Star Vista last month and I went down during their first day on the 28th August 2015. Over $15,000 in donation was raised with the help of the public who supported the cause to give hope to future generations.
I had the opportunity to capture the fun moments at the event's photo wall and bring home the instant print.

Here's how BRAND'S® makes a positive difference to the society with their initiatives such as how between 1999 and 2003, over 20,000 prosthetic limbs were produced for the less privileged by recycling used BRAND'S® caps. Very amazing.
Talented artistes from The New Paper's Creative Team designed these 20 Designer Bottles which is going from $50 per piece to raise funds for the cause. All donation proceeds goes to World Vision.
For a $10 donations, visitors had the chance to personalize their very own BRAND'S® bottle label or transform their empty BRAND'S® bottles into a gift, mini terrariums or even snow globes.
DIY-ing my own BRAND'S® bottle. Didn't know that I was being spied here. Haha.
My end product : a cute and easy to make graduation bottle.

The overview of the whole event area on Friday. In addition, the Grand Prize winner from the BRAND'S® 180th Anniversary Drink & Win Promotion, who won $18,000 in cash donated $2,000 to the cause.
One also get to contribute to the campaign by getting the BRAND'S® Coin Slot Caps at $2 from this Coin Slot Cap Dispenser Machine. I didn't get mine when I visited the event on Friday and got Jessie to get one for me when she went down on Sunday. Thank you.
The Coin Slot Caps transform used BRAND'S® bottles into coin banks, which can be filled and donated back to World Vision or kept as a collector's item.
Each BRAND'S® bottle can store up to 45 $1 coins, the amount to cover the basic needs of one needy child for a month. I didn't have so much $1 coins so mine is a mixture of the coins I've collected.
