My friends and I went to the Singapore Airlines Light Up The Night Carnival held at the F1 Pit Building on 22 August 15. The Carnival is open to the public as a two-day event last weekend (22 to 23 August) in the lead-up to this year's FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. This year's Carnival is held in conjunction with race promoter Singapore GP's 'Rev Up Singapore!' campaign.
The ultimate Supercars showcase! So chio and colourful!
The only reason why I took a solo photo of this Honda Civic TCR is because my name is on it and this Kenneth Lau is a Hong Kong racing driver which I found out only after I googled him.
Feels so good to be able to see these cars up close in their stationary mode despite the blazing hot sun.
Kiss 92FM deejay reporting live at the carnival.
A photo with the super friendly and enthusiastic deejays.
Jet Set Life, it's a first class adventure! How many of us would even have the chance to sit in a first class cabin? So glad for this mock up display that show how a first class seats looks and feels like.
Cony falling asleep as the seat is too comfortable.
Hopefully we will get to travel together like this one of these days. Great companion always.
Three life-size FORMULA ONE racing cars were put together from just cardboard by the Paper Carpenter team.
Kids really enjoying themselves with the painting.
After that we all headed up to the VIP area which is fully air-conditioned. Heard that the tickets to enter this VIP area can cost up to $5,000 per ticket during the F1 race season!?
Admiring the view of the Supercars showcase from the VIP area.
Photo with Madame Tussauds wax figures of Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel. Actually I only know the two of them out of all the F1 racers.
In my hand is the replica of the 2015 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX winner's trophy. It's super heavy and I need two hands to hold it up.

Me and my brother.
Jessie and I playing a racing game on wii. It was fun!
We all enjoyed ourselves at the carnival. There were many other fun fringe activities that we didn't get to try. Hopefully, next year they will organized such a carnival again.
