Preview screening of PUDSEY THE DOG: THE MOVIE

Sometimes, all it takes for a person/animal's life to change from ordinary to extraordinary is to be in the right place at the right time and doing the right thing.

Ashleigh and Pudsey is one good example. They won the 2012 series of Britain's Got Talent where they performed and danced to the Mission: Impossible theme. The performance involved Pudsey standing on his hind legs, walking across the judges' panel and then climbing onto Ashleigh's back. This winning marks the first ever dog trick act to win the competition. Watch the video below for their winning performance.

I love how synchronized their moves are according to the well-chosen music. Really very impressive. I'm not sure how hard it is to train a dog till this standard but it took Ashleigh almost 6 years since she received the dog as a present for her 11th birthday.

2 years following his winning performance, Pudsey is now set to charm the audiences once again by staring in his own movie!

Pudsey (voiced over by David Walliams), a city stray dog relocated to the countryside with his newly found family of  three siblings Molly (Izzy Meikle-Small), George (Spike White) and Tommy (Malachy Knights) and their mother, Gail (Jessica Hynes).

The heartwarming part is when Pudsey indirectly helps Tommy, the younger kid overcome his grief of losing his father and finally starts to speak. I felt that the plot could develop further if there's more interactions between Pudsey and the other two kids.

The landlord of the house in Chuffington, Mr Thorne (John Sessions) and his cat Faustus was unhappy when he see Pudsey.

Initially as Pudsey settled in, he causes some chaos in the village but he becomes the hero of the village after he stumbles across an evil plan that Mr Thorne was plotting and he came up with his own plan to successfully save the whole village. Love this funny scene of how Pudsey and his dog friend disguise as human and try to sneak through.

Big thanks to Jessie for asking me to join her to this preview screening. Overall, I felt that this is a heartwarming movie suitable for the family with kids to watch. Those who loves dogs would surely love this movie.
