On my 9th driving lesson today, I finally did something different from the usual left turns, right turns and U-turns. With the instructor leading the way, I saw a familiar sign. Farmart! Went there before to feed the goats and I was wondering why he want to take me there. Are we going to tour around there? Or he needs to buy something there? My queries were answered when we moved further in as there's actually a private circuit inside one of the small road there!!! Talks about saving cost, going to BBDC circuit can cost as much as an additional $28++ Now this private circuit only cost $5. Hehe. This private circuit is really very private. The road leading to it is like some unpaved road and is rather narrow. Inside, we practiced S-course, crank-course and slope. S-Course is damn difficult. The instruction keeps holding the metal pointer and point point here point point there but I just couldn't catch what he is trying to tell me to look out for. So my car is always either too left or too right and worst is mounting the curb. Tried a few rounds and most not successful. So on the way back, my instructor asked me whether I got the correct "feel" for the road already or not and I just laughed. One thing to not, do not step on the accelerator during the S-Course. No chance to be fast. Have to be real slow. Just let the car inch forward and I have to learn to turn the steering wheels FAST! Like playing mahjong. I am at a disadvantage since I don't play mahjong!!! Another thing to note is during slope, must remember to step on accelerator before releasing the handbrake. If not once the car slides down, it would means minus points during TP. After coming out of the circuit I was totally in a shagged mode, forget to on signal light some more. Gosh. I definitely need more practices.
At the end of the session, both bf and my father came. Nearly get caught as bf is driving his bike and he thought he want to fetch me so he faster say he's here to bring me eat the Dim Sums at the coffee shop there. The dim sums there were delicious. After that went to my Ah gong house for praying ah ma and had lunch there. Due to the driving I didn't go Mandai with the rest. Chatted with S4's mum and she told me some really interesting things. Make me laugh non stop.
After which, went to Jurong Point to meet Mum. She was there for a Billy event. An avid supporters who never fails to go to his events one. Even bought his concert tickets on the spot. I on the other hand was not so interested in all these. Window shopped at Jurong Point a while before heading to the library. I've started the interest of borrowing books since I'm making those handicraft cards. It always gives me a sense of satisfaction after finishing the cards. Especially yesterday I made another card from my company's unwanted brochures. Even my bf said it's nice. For today, the library allows us to borrow up to 6 books each and after showing them the receipts we can exchanged for a library note pad. Ended up, borrowed 12 books. 3 on cooking, 4 on crafts, 3 short novels, 2 comics. Enough to occupied me for the whole of next week and next next week to stay home. Shall not spend so much time outside since I had spent a bloody lot of $$ on unnecessary things like my handphone bills. Stupid mobile facebook and mobile MSN. Sigh makes my handphone bill more than doubled. Sometime I hate my handphone cause it don't supports WI-FI. On a happier note, I'm going to Ikea soon to get myself a $3.90 STEKA flying pan. SUPER DUPER CHEAP!! A similar one can easily cost $38.90. Somemore this one has got a non-stick surface. I'm so going to get it soon!
