BYCH Hot Yoga have been around since March 2006 and has helped many individuals stay in shape by integrating Yoga as part of their daily lifestyle.

Regular Hot Yoga workout provides great overall benefits

* Lose Weight
* Tone Muscles
*Reduce Stress
*Improve Sleep
* Maintain youth, vitality and radiance
*One of the preventive measures for common diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, etc

BYCH Hot Yoga consists of two types of classes: BYCH Classic and BYCH Cardio.

I was glad to be given the opportunity to try out a session of BYCH Hot Yoga Cardio class together with Jessie, Shu Qing and Yingzi. Make sure you keep your stomach empty for at least 2-3 hours and drink plenty of water before class.

After we changed into our sports attire, we are ready to enter the 40 degrees heated room! The heat helps to relax the muscles in order for us to stretch more safely and deeper. Doing the vigorous workout in this heat also increase respiration and blood circulation, thus improving cardio-vascular fitness. Like what the notice pasted on the door says "No Shoes, no cell phone, no watches, no whining beyond this point." So enter with a positive mindset and a bottle of water.

Due to the high temperature, it's normal to feel dizzy, nauseous or lightheaded. In such cases, just sit down, take a breather but keep your head up and eyes open the entire time. It is not advisable to try to walk out of the room. Dizziness is a sign of dehydration so golden rule is again to drink more water throughout the day.

One thing worth mentioning about BYCH Hot Yoga that is different from the other hot yoga class that I went to previously is the mat they used when practicing. At BYCH Hot Yoga, they use "MOWEL" instead of the typical rubber yoga mat. It has a towel surface which can absorb sweat and a waterproof plastic underside. It can also be easily washed and dried after each use. Unlike the regular yoga mats which leaves a stench and deep grooves after someone used it, this mowel can be easily washed and dried after each use.

That's us again after the 55 minutes cardio class. See our tomato-faced or you can also say post-yoga glow on our faces. Hehe.

Selfie! Sweat a bucket and but I really do feel so much energetic after that. Some of the poses were quite challenging for me especially those that requires me to balance on one foot. I guess I have to learn to keep my focus.

Feel the transformation. Sign up for a BYCH Hot Yoga class today.
