UNBOTTLE THE MAGIC

On this magical day 1.3.13 , we got to attend the launch event with a magical theme "Unbottle The Magic!" This theme suits this event very well as the seven new series of printers helps customers reduce operating costs with the world's lowest printing cost of any printer using genuine Epson ink bottles supplies.

Jess, Shu Qing and I at the photo booth and we were served CMYK (Cyan, MagentaYellowBlack) drinks! We have the Magenta drink which is Cranberry flavour.

Special Opening Performance

An amazingly cool light performance. Very much like the lightsaber in Star Wars!

The CMYladies. All models in the Epson L-series offer customers a high print volume and low cost per page printing. Their high capacity ink bottles only cost S$ 9.90 each and allow users to print at incredibly high volume without worrying about printing costs.

The launch of the L-series ink tank system printers also ties in with the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of their proprietary Micro Pieze Technology, a high performance inkjet printing technology that delivers high print quality and precision due to their ability to eject ink droplets in varying sizes. The lower operating temperature as compared to competing thermal print head technology used by other inkjet makers makes Epson's printers more power efficient and able to use a wider range of inks and media. The high reliability also enables Epson to build its print heads into its printers, instead of cartridges. With this, it is cheaper to produce, more affordable to buy and easier to recycle.

“Our ultra-reliable Micro Piezo print head technology allowed us to create the Epson L-series ink tank system printers to meet our customers’ demands for ultra-low cost and high volume printing,” said Endo Koichi, Managing Director of Epson Southeast Asia and one of the engineers who developed Epson’s Micro Piezo print head. “Even though we are the first and only branded ink tank system printer maker in the world, we have not stopped listening to our customers; and with the new models, we have met their demands for faster printing speed with increased reliability.”

The other execs with their speeches. We were also shown funny video of the KIAM Family. Can find it on YouTube or visit their Facebook page here.  Have you ever bought staff that you ended up not using? Then why buy? Get the point they want to bring across?

The Epson L-series printers features Epson Original Ink Tanks, neatly integrated ink tubes and a special choke valve. All these features allow for easy ink refilling as well as convenient transportation of the printer.

At the end of the event, one lucky winner walks away with the latest Epson L-Series printer. Receiving the prize from Ms Tan May Lin, the General Manager of Epson Singapore.

Considering the cheap options, perhaps this is a great opportunity to switch from using laser or dot matrix printers to this highly affordable L-series ink tank system printers.

Thank you Epson for having me. It was truly an event that gives me great insight into the Epson L-series printers!
