In conjunction with the newly launched LG Optimus G in Singapore, the G cafe with a pop up store concept is set up in the heart of our shopping district at Wisma Atria Atrium. At the G cafe, feel free to see and experience the unique features of LG Optimus G, which is touted as one of the most feature-rich smartphones LG has produced to date. The G cafe will be open till 8th March 2013 from 12pm to 9pm daily.

Once you stepped into the G cafe, you will be able to find three different experience zones to learn more about the design, performance and the user interface features. We had a short briefing on the different functions of the Optimus G. Some of the functions were really pretty awesome, I must say.
There's also an actual cafe to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from the popular Melbourne style coffee brewers, The Plain. I ordered a cup of G hits the spot and it is actually latte with mint. Love the taste and the nice latte artwork. It would have been even better if it wasn't raining and we could sit outside at the outdoor area.
Testing the phone's photo printing function. It's quite cool as the printer is just like the size of the phone except that it's much thicker. The most amazing thing is this printer do not need any ink cartridges. It uses the NFC (Near Field Communication) technology to print out the photos. Oh, and before printing, we can even add a QR code or text to the photo. Interesting!

We were treated with some Korean delights during the event. Had delicious Korean seafood pancakes, rice balls, rice wine, etc.
LG Optimus G for a week!
Now this LG Optimus G would be my new "TOY" for a week. This phone has been making waves in Korea, Japan, United States and Canada. It was launched in Singapore on 31 January 2013. Its' Zerogap Touch Technology helps to improve the durability and clarity of the display by eliminating air gaps found in other touchscreen devices. The Optimus G is also awarded the iF Product Design Award 2013. LG Optimus G is currently retailing at S$798 and is available at Starhub, M1, Singtel and selected retail stores. "LITTLE PSY"
Remember him? The little kid in the viral hit music video, 'Gangnam Style'? On 27 February 2013, which is this coming Wednesday, pop by the LG's G cafe in the evening at about 7pm for a big surprise as the talented nine year-old Hwang Min-Woo, better known as "Little Psy" will be making his debut performance in Singapore with several dance routines. He will be performing his signature dance moves and upbeat choreography to 'Gangnam Style', 'Loving You' and 'Billie Jean'. Do not miss this chance to get up close and personal with this little Korean superstar! See you there!
