ATM Er Rak Error (ATM เออรัก เออเร่อ) is the latest Thai romantic comedy directed by Mes Tharatorn. Opens in cinemas on 29th March 2012 and big thanks to Omy Blog Club for the free pair of ticket. Spoilers ahead!

The two main characters in this movie who are also the couple featured in the movie poster.

Sua and Jib are into their fifth year of relationship. However, unlike ordinary couples, they have to keep this relationship a secret due to the Company's strict policy that doesn't allow fellow colleagues to date each other. Ironically, Jib is the chief enforcer of this policy. Once caught to be dating, either one party has to resign voluntarily or be asked to leave. Tired of facing the pressure of keeping the relationship underground (eating in the same restaurant but back to back in separate booth), Sua went ahead to arrange for a wedding at a hotel ballroom on 31st Oct Halloween night. This brings a bigger problem as neither of them wish to resign. While Jib assumed that Sua would be the one resigning, Sua wished that Jib would resign and be a good housewife.

Meanwhile, two workers were updating the software of this ATM machine outside a sports stadium. Something went wrong and ended up this machine pays double the amount withdrawn. A total of $130,000 baht were withdrawn incorrectly before the machine got shut down and the bank wants Jib to handle this case. Sua knew about it and throw a challenge to Jib that whoever can be the first to find the people and get back the money would stay in the job . The loser will have to quit.
The bank's boss son came into scene in between the story line. He also falls in love with Jib and openly express his love for her by singing, dancing and flipping his hair. He used the excuse that he is just a trainee to avoid the Company's policy but in fact it's because he's the boss's son. His role is just to add some laughing effect as towards the end of the movie, I didn't see him appear anymore and he was supposed to catch who are the ones who took double the money too.
Some of the other casts worth mentioning from left to right.
1. The taxi driver who took the extra money to make his gold teeth.
2. The young punk kid who used the extra money to buy a new bike. He was the one who first make the discovery of the ATM's error and informed his friend, the taxi driver.
3. She was the mum of Gob in number 4. She used the money to buy new washing machines for her laundry business.
4. Gob, a rather cute and silly kid. In love with number 2.
The most ickiest part of the movie is a routine that the punk biker kid does with Gob. It's a series of imaginary actions of cutting open his chest, ripping out his heart, kissed it and throw it to Gob who would also play along by pretending to catch it, kiss it and put it in her chest. I don't know, if this were real, I don't think they would still be able to smile at each other so sweetly. What I imagine the scene to be is somewhat like the picture below. I give you my heart EMO. Sua and Jib attempted this series of actions too towards the end of the movie at the hotel they were supposed to hold their wedding at and my goosebumps were all rising. I think if a guy would ever try this on me, I would "throw" his heart away man! =O
I shall not spill too much of the story line so that you all can catch it in the cinema. Overall, I rate this movie a 6.5/10. I find Hello Stranger a much better movie.
