HaPpY X'mAS stroll along Orchard Road and Dinner at The Cafe Cartel - Nex

Compared to last year's Christmas day which I spent at home, this year, it is bf's mum who suggested going down to Orchard Road to take photos. If not for her, I wouldn't have knew that there's road closure between Scotts Road and Bideford Road for the display of the Christmas floats.

We took bus 7 together and alighted at the bus stop just before the road closure area. We took a photo of ION Ochard as background from Wheelock Place.

Am glad the weather is nice after the rain in the afternoon.

It's not easy to get the whole heart frame in with the people walking up and down but bf's mum did it!

My favourite photo!

Christmas is LOVE!

Live. Laugh. Love.
Three very essential elements of life.

No photo of me with the bear though I'm wearing the bear tee.

Nice? Edited.

The bus stop is nicely decorated too but we can only see the back view of it.

Pink Christmas tree.

Ferrero Christmas tree. Magnificent

Felt like eating the chocolate.

Christmas tree outside Plaza Singapura. We walked all the way from Orchard to here.

First taste of Gong Cha. Not bad.

From Dhoby Ghaut, we took a train to Serangoon to visit the new shopping mall NEX. It was really big. I guess it's even bigger compared to Vivo City and it's so crowded.

We walked a few round and almost every restaurant has long queue queuing outside. So we ended up here which has no queue at all.

At least we thought we might get the free candy treat but it was out of stock.

Soup of the day.

Original Honey Ribs

Chicken and butter prawn. His mum commented that it's doesn't taste as nice as her cooking which I agree.

Cartel Mushroom sauce medium rare steak.

Total cost of the meal: $71.70. Disappointed with the choice of meal but overall was glad that we took alot of photos and while we were out there, the rain has stopped. I think I would have to re-visit Nex again as the walk today was like just walking round the mall and didn't have much time to explore the place.
