[SUNDAY AT Clementi] Bober Tea Opening Special + KFC Ohayo Porridge

The iconic Giant Bober Tea Sculpture outside their latest outlet in Clementi

I have many favourite bubble tea brands and Bober Tea is one of them. Whenever I went to Bukit Panjang Plaza Shopping Centre, I would definitely grabbed a cup of Bober Tea before heading home. So I was so happy to learn that they are opening up another outlet at Clementi which is even closer to home now.

We chose the Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk ~
Super Cute Bear Cup!

As part of their Opening Special promotion, they held a giveaway for 5 days whereby the first 100 customers visiting can redeem either a 360ml Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk or 360ml Roasted Oolong Milk Tea on the house! Shared this with my friend in Clementi and together we met up on this Sunday morning to redeem it.

KFC Ohayo Porridge for Breakfast

After getting our drinks, we went to have KFC for our breakfast. Tried the KFC Ohayo Porridge which is a new item on their menu. Similar to the KFC Original Recipe Porridge, whole pieces of chicken fillet chunks were used in the porridge. The only difference is the topping which now includes seaweed and sesame seed seasoning. Stirring in the Furikake added a new flavour to the porridge. Although I prefer the Original Recipe Porridge, I still enjoy having this bowl of hot and comforting Ohayo porridge as my breakfast.

XOXO

[Sponsored Post] KFC - Battle of the two wings

In recent years, the influence of Japanese and Korean culture and cuisine is getting increasingly prevalent. Many Singaporeans, like myself have fallen in love with the rich Japanese culture and exciting Korean pop and fashion trends. Most importantly, we are so spoilt for choice when it comes to their wide variety of food.
To align with this trend, KFC introduces the all-new KFC Wings - Freshly breaded in-store with a special batter, these juicy wings are cooked to crispy perfection and coated in two bold flavours.

Pick either the Tangy yet Savoury Umadare sauce (Japanese sauce) or the Sweet and Spicy Yang Yeum sauce (Korean-Inspired sauce). There bound to be a flavour which you simply can't get enough of!

The KFC Wings is also paired with the new 7Up Lemon Mint, which allows you to enjoy the refreshing flavour of lemon paired with a cool burst of mint.

Enjoy the KFC Wings in an a la carte set of 4 pcs (choice of 1 flavour) at only $4.90, or go for the Wings Rice Bento Set which comes with 4 pcs Wings (choice of 1 flavour), fragrant chicken rice, a side salad and a regular 7Up Lemong Mint at only $6.90!

Both flavours has their own distinctive taste. It's so different from eating KFC's usual crispy or original chicken meal.

So which flavours did I pick in the end? Watch the short clip below to find out.

Yes, My choice in the end is the Umadare Sauce! Yang Yeum sauce is too spicy for me.

It's the battle of two wings! Pick a side and be part of KFC's greatest wing-off today. Hurry down to the nearest KFC* to pledge your allegiance to your favourite flavour. Upload a photo or video of yourselves trying the KFC Wings on instagram and hashtag #kfcoishii to support the Umadare flavour or #kfcmashisoyo to support the Yang Yeum flavour. One lucky winner will be chosen from the 'winning flavour' to win a prize. In the video, you can also say 'oishii!' or 'mashisoyo!' while eating the Wings. *Promotion is not available at KFC Sentosa and Singapore Zoo.
