[EVENT] CAFE ASIA - ICT Expo 2017 and Sweets & Bakes Asia 2017 Exhibition

Café Asia 2017, International Coffee & Tea Expo (ICT Expo) 2017 and Sweets & Bakes Asia 2017 which features 168 exhibitors from 22 countries attracts some 11,000 visitors during the 3 days exhibition held at Marina Bay Sand Singapore Expo & Convention Centre from 2 - 4 March 2017. The event was launched by Guest-of-Honour Mr Lee Yi Shyan, Member of Parliament, East Coast GRC on the first day.


Café Asia and ICT Expo which was first launched in 2013 followed by Sweets & Bakes which was introduced one year later has since been a dynamic B2B platform for those in the tea, coffee and bakery industries. Visitors not only discovered new sources of supplies and innovative equipment through the exhibition, exclusive workshops classes and demonstrations by the industry experts, it is also a place to explore new collaborations and business opportunities.

The first booth we came across upon entering was by Oishi International Pte Ltd. We were attracted by the aroma of the waffles actually. The waffles were made from different premix such as Red Velvet, Green Tea, Chocolate, Buttermilk and Bamboo Charcoal flavours which can be ordered from them. They are the manufacturer & direct wholesaler of a variety of desserts and they also provide professional services such as consultancy for F&B, NEA/AVA application & submissions, equipment supplies and etc. Some of their equipment were already marked as SOLD during the exhibition.

We were brought to BREWER'S which is affectionately known amongst the Singapore Hotel and Restaurant Industry as "The Coffee People" in recognition of the pride Brewer's takes in serving customers with the highest quality coffee.  


The Mobile Nitro-Coffee Dispenser that is the first of its kind in Singapore based on its brewing & roasting technique. Coffee dispensed out from this machine is infused with nitrogen creating the top frothy appearance. This is one of the latest trend in the market. Love the sweet aftertaste of their coffee.


Justin Metcalf World Barista Judge™ is highly recognized in Australia as the Coffee & Café consultants. His Espresso Martini is made with real Cold Brewed Coffee.


One interesting find at the exhibition is this Turmeric Latte Mix from Nature's Harvest which we've sampled. What's inside the pack are healing spices that is free from caffeine. A healthy and flavourful alternative to coffee.


Another Nitro-infused Cold Brew Coffee from Boyle's Coffee, Korea. This is much bitter compared to the first one I tried.


Our last stop at Kaffa Kaldi booth, we were introduced to the innovative Ripple Maker that they are distributing. This Ripple Maker creates beautiful images, photos or text on beverages and food surfaces according to customization by the customers. Instead of using food colouring, the printing were spray on using coffee extract!

Several competitions were taking place at the same time too. The following is the list of winners for the different categories! Congratulations!
