Movie : Together 在一起 at Plaza Singapura

Produced by Joy Media, this romantic comedy comprised of two different love stories. One features Donnie Yen, Michelle Chen and Chrissie Chau while the other is between Angelababy, Kai Ko and Bosco Wong. Yes, Michelle Chen and Kai Ko are the main leads in the movie "You are the apple of my eye" but in this movie they are not couple and the two love stories are not interlinked.

Donnie Yen role in this movie is a traffic police called "Mr Cool". Due to a rare disease, he wasn't able to smile like how normal people do. It was really an eye opener cause in this movie he portray a totally different side of him. The emotional and romantic side instead of the tough guy image. Fate brings him and Michelle Chen also called Jojo to meet under many circumstances. Due to a blood clot in Jojo's brain, she suffered from memory lost frequently. Just as Jojo begins to build trust in Mr Cool, her fiance reappears and she suffered from another episode of amnesia which wipes out her memory of Mr Cool. After some twist and turn and when we thought it was impossible that they can be together again, fate plays a big role to bring them together again.

Wiretapping member Boy acted by Kai Ko is the guy-next door kind of guy who loves to play CS and eat pork chop rice. He first met Nam Lee acted by Angelababy during an operation at the airport but they parted with unsettled discord. After that, they met again randomly when they both used the same speed dating app on the smartphone. They decided to play a game of "Seven days of Romance" whereby in this game, they only do romantic things together but not to fall in love. As the seven days passed, Boy gets to know Nam Lee better and changed his opinion of her as a superficial and materialistic woman. Boy plans many romantic dates and one of it was a picnic whereby he cooked pork chop rice for her. This really wins her heart. Unknowingly, both have fall in love with each other during this seven days. After that, there's also a twist in the story which involves Nam Lee's rich boss Mr. Lam acted by Bosco Wong but towards the end, they are still together. I actually prefer the love story between Kai Ko and Angelababy. They really do very sweet and romantic things like riding the carousel, going for picnic, playing CS together, etc. Those sweet scenes really brings a smile to my face. Makes me wish that I'm the female character inside and how I wish I received pork chop rice couriered to me everyday. Lolol. The bonding between the both of them seems more natural too. Overall, I've enjoyed this movie very much. Would give it a rating of 4/5 stars.
