OpenRice 1st to review contest is back! I've missed the previous contest and wasted a chance to win Capital land mall vouchers. This time round, for every 10 qualified 1st to review (cannot be the second or third to write the review) reviews they will be giving out Tangs gift card worth $20. For me, I'm actually aiming at the 3rd prize which is a pair of the Disney - The Lion King tickets at Marina Bay Sands.
You might think it's easy but looking at the winners of the previous contest, the first prize goes to someone with 100+ 1st to review reviews. Right now, I only have 4 1st to review reviews. Guess I should be contented to win the Tangs gift card.
The idea of getting rewarded for writing reviews and furthermore is reviews on food (which we have to eat everyday) really motivates me to join. With this contest, it brings taking photos of food just for memory to a higher level. Not only we just blogged about it in blogs, we write reviews which shows the exact location of the place, the price, how we think of the environment, we also can read and comments on other's review and bookmark our favourite restaurant. Finding a nice place to eat next time shouldn't be a big headache now.
