~* Princess Hui Ting 1st year bbq + Potluck birthday party *~

Especially for Princess Ting, I've set foot in the kitchen once again. During the discussion which was weeks ago, bf and I have reserved the menu of preparing omelette and bee hoon. There's another guy who commented that he will be bringing fried rice so that makes two "main course" for the potluck. However, the day before, found out that there will be no more fried rice. Makes all of us quite worried that food will be not enough and we were also unsure of how many packets of bee hoon to buy for so much people. In the end, we just bought 2 packets and other necessary ingredients from NTUC. Luckily bf's mum is willing to help out with the bee hoon while we make the omelette ourselves. Can be considered my first time making omelette and still edible. =)

The actual day at Bukit Purmei BBQ Pit C. Colourful decorations was already put up by the friends and godmas.

Our worries that food will not be enough is unnecessary. Look at the variety of yummy food!

MMM. Lovely Princess Ting in her sweet pink dress and princessy hairband.

Princess Ting is getting bored. Maybe she wants to get off the baby chair?

Us again. Bf said Princess Ting did not take him into existence and avoids any eye contact with him. He even demo his point to us. So funny. Haha.

Pooh and friends cake. Very beautiful.

Oh gosh, with her flying feet, Ting gave the cake a big kick.

Evidence left behind.

Tired and sleepy for Princess Ting but she sure gets lots of nice presents. Princess Ting is such a blessed girl. The whole birthday celebrations went on smoothly even though halfway into the BBQ, dark clouds seems to hover above the sky. When most of us thought it will rain and started moving the food into the shelter, the strong wind blew the raining clouds far far away from us. Not only the weather is nice, Ting was rather well behaved too. The last I met her, she would cry and not let other people carry her, but not today. Not on her birthday. She didn't cry at all when we took turns to carry her. Oh ya and she smiled real widely each time the godmas sing "May the good lords bless you" birthday song for her.
