Winning contests - Singapore 2010 Odyssey + Contest Junkie + Youth.Sg Friday Special

I love taking part in contests, it's a free and simple way to harbour some hope in winning something at the end of the day. Just like buying 4Ds, you'll never know when you will win and what prize you will win. Best part in taking part in online contests is it's free. Hee. Some contests however need more efforts to be put in. The only contest I will never waste my time taking part in is those voting contests because they are usually quite unfair.

I once watched a reality series that showed a guy not working but still survived by taking part in contests. Of course, he didn't just take part in small contests like me, he went on to do big projects that when win the first prize could perhaps be my many months of salary.

This month up till today, I've won at least 3 contests. (more to come. LOL) First is from Contest Junkie, just have to join as a fan of Contest Junkie in Facebook and a generator will randomly pick the winner. I'm so lucky to have won a pair of green movie voucher (explained to me by Dallas is actually GV movie vouchers.) The best thing about winning from Contest Junkie, is that I just need to wait for the prize to be sent to my house. No complication.

Second contests I've won is with some help from friends like Ms Leong. That is the Singapore 2010 Odyssey game contests. This need teamwork as I need 4 other friend to join and enter the game. For this I've won 5 movie tickets. There's some confusion in getting the movie tickets as I called the staff, she told me their office operating hour which crash exactly with mine. Then, she told me sat they also opened from 9am - 1pm. So I thought I can asked bf to collect on my behalf since he didn't need to work on Saturday. Who knows when bf went last sat, the office was dark and empty with only the cleaner working. We were both very mad and I immediately wrote an e-mail back to complain. Luckily, the staff knows how to resolve the problem and say she will arrange for courier to send the tickets to my house tomorrow at 3pm. Hopefully, they won't make a mistake again.

The third contest is from Youth.sg. Friday special - Daybreakers. It's been awhile since I took part in contests from Youth.sg. This time round, I thought the contest was quite interesting and that is to form the most number of words with the word "Daybreakers". I've submitted a total of 51 words. The collection of tickets timing crash with my working time too so for this have to trouble my mum to get it for me.

The movie gift set from Youth.sg contest. Woohoo.
Complementary tickets to watch Daybreakers + Giant Poster + Notebook.

PS: Taking part in contests is easy. Winning a contests is lucky. Collecting the prizes is troublesome. Good luck to all if you all are taking part in the next contests.
