CAN! Click @ ILUMA

Went to the second event organsied by CAN! In case you are wondering, CAN = Create Action Now. Altogether there are 4 different themes (Culture & Heritage, Digital Media, Environment, Arts) and 4 badges to collect. Have attended the first event and below is the blog link to the first event.

Now for the second event held at ILUMA, the new shopping mall at Bugis. Talk about ILUMA, it's my first time there. This shopping mall is super spacious! It's a hugh distance from the ceiling to the floor. There's one level whereby there's a row of seat so one would not be afriad that the feets are sore and have no place to rest. I've got the same people who went with me for the first event to go again and Lis also asked a few others friends of her to join too.

Before we stepped into the shopping mall, we received this Five Dollars vouchers for The Manhattan Fish Market. So that settles what we are going to have for lunch.

The menu

Appetizer.

Free from the Five Dollar note.

Platters for Two. We couldn't finish it so we Da Bao back. Luckily they allowed us to pack home.

The event!!

Me with Blobby the spokesblob for Singapore 2010 CAN Festivals.

The first booth is this Youth Guru booth, whereby we joined as Beta tester and also got a chance to dress up as the real Youth Guru. I don't know why the Youth Guru have to dress up like some ancient china people.

Next up is the Digital Visual Effect. Actually we are not really fighting anyone. We are just making the pose that looks like we are fighting and the actual photos will be reflected on the TV. Bf pose until so straight. LOL. See the opponent is already pointing his swords at bf's throat le.

Taking photos with the cosplay people. They are also the ones who will give us the chops so that we can exchange for the goodie bag. The left one is Sora from Kingdom Hearts and the right one is Naruto.

Dinner at Bugis Junction. Before that we shopped at Bugis street and I bought 4 clothes at $5 each! Wahaha. My plate of Chee Cheong Fun is yummy. It's like Chee Cheong Fun cooked in the style of Fried Carrot Cake. Their Noodles also very nice.

After dinner we still went to eat dessert. Bf make a fool of himself by ordering Black Sesame which he don't like. He wanted to order Or Bi Beh one. After the sweet dessert it's home sweet home time. Anticipating the third CAN! Event.
