Just thought that I'll share some statistics before going into how this mobile app called ShareKool can benefits us.

We all know that sharing is caring and most people actually feels good and happy when it comes to sharing.
Sharing Economy enables effective shared access to goods, services, information and talent through the use of technology and community.

Many a times, we bought things that we only use for one time, after which they are kept in the stores for years. What if there is now a platform that you can join as member and share your items with other members who might just need it for that one time too and in return get some cash.
Sounds too good to be true?

Let me introduce to you ShareKool, Singapore's first mobile affiliate app that provides the platform (base on a Peer-to-peer model) to Share Economy.
Some of the advantages of ShareKool are as follows:
1) Promote the culture of sharing: this encourages us to combine our resources, provide access to a range of personal possessions and things we rarely thought of buying or services we hardly use.
2) Provide a marketing portal: It acts as an online market place for members, business partners and their clients.
3) Conserve physical & monetary resources: This helps to save the storage space at home for items we rarely use. Renting it at a cheaper cost is better than buying it.
4) Save Gaia: As we share, we reduce wastage and create less rubbish thus reducing the harm done to the Earth.
Six different features of ShareKool are as follows:
Read advertisements and promotional emails that are being sent to the inbox within the APP. This ensures that our personal email accounts will not be spammed with marketing mails. Good news is, after these mails are being read, points will be awarded. So it's a win-win situation to both Companies as well as consumers. With the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) that will soon be in placed, it will soon be harder to target the consumers. With this app, it can helps to reach out to them.

Watch advertising and promotional videos within the APP. All videos will only be sent from server and after again after watching, points will be awarded.

Provide or take up any specialize skills, services, task or jobs. For example, you are good at repairing the sink, you can advertise your skills in the app and if somebody's sink needs to be repair, they may hire you.

Rent out or co-share your free space or equipment. Make the most out of your money spent. For example that drill you've got, instead of storing it after using it for one time, why not list it out for a minimum fee to those who needs it.

The Mint Museum of Toys
The pre-launch of ShareKool was held at The Mint Museum of Toys and it's my first time there. A great place for toys collectors and lovers to visit. Above is a photo of me with the lift door and the wall of the lift. They have lots of toys on display in this 5 storey museum.

Me and the bears! We only get to explore the third storey of this museum which showcase Childhood favorite's toys as the museum closed at 6.30pm daily. A suggestion to those who are planning to visit this museum is to take the lift to the highest level and take the stairs down because every level of the stairs, there's will be a giant glass cabinet full of toys on display too. Don't miss that.
