Faye Wong 2011 Concert : 王菲2011巡唱

Faye Wong's one day concert in Singapore is AWESOME! Cool like the pop diva herself, she didn't speak much to the audiences at all throughout the whole concert merely saying "thank you" from time to time after her song. No special guests just her solo performance with the band. No lyrics on the screen yet everyone knows the songs she sang and can sing or hum along.

王菲的演唱会跟她本人一样超酷的！没有讲到太多的话，只是唱歌和说谢谢。没有请任何特别来宾，但是却让我门陶醉在她的歌声和舞台表演上。没有任何歌词，还是能带动气氛让全场唱起来。

How I won today's pair of Faye Wong concert ticket all started with this leaflet. With 50 SunPerks point, I get a chance in the lucky draw. So I quickly login to my account and redeem it with 100 SunPerks points. Never regret being a loyal M1 customers for so many years.  

The confirmation SMS that I'm one of the 400 lucky winners who've won the ticket! When I went to collect my ticket that day, my friend still jokingly said that she want to transfer her line to M1 too as she never really won anything from her current service provider.

After her last concert in Singapore seven years ago, Faye Wong is back again for this one night only concert. The theme of this concert is "four season" and "reborn".


阔别七年再回到本地演唱，这是她在新加坡唯一的一场演唱会。这次演唱会的主题是“四季”和“重生”所以十分有看头。

Here we go. Pretty excited. 


我门带着兴奋的心情进去咯。

We were early. We reached at about 7.30pm even though the ticket states 8pm.

我门比票上的时间还早了半个钟头就到了。

We got balcony seats! This is our view of the stage and screen from our seats. I really love this seat albeit a bit far. It shows the perfect overview of the whole place, the stage and big screens and the rest of the audiences.

原来我门的座位是在最顶端的。我好喜欢我们的座位。虽然有点远但可以一览无余的看到整个舞台和大银幕。

The M1 goodie bag consist of one advertisement booklet from WTS, one advertisement leaflet from breadtalk and OCBC and also one light stick. We have three different colours for the casing to choose from - blue, pink and white. 


礼包里有荧光棒。三种颜色的壳分别是蓝色，分红色和白色让我们任意选择。

This is her grand opening. She choose a Cantonese song for her entrance. The Chinese version is called Yue Ding by Zhou Hui.


当舞台窗帘掀开时，全场是激动的。第一首歌唱了广东版的约定（周惠）。





Second song sang is a very popular song called Red Bean. 


第二首歌是每个人熟悉的红豆。 





Third song is an oldies originally sang by Teresa Teng. Teresa Teng version was soft and gentle. I liked both version.


第三首歌曲是翻唱鄧麗君的你在我心中。成功的唱出她自己的风格。

Her first costume set. I guess this is for winter season theme. 

这套服装好有冬天的感觉。

This song is the Cantonese version of The Cranberries Dream.

In this set, Faye came out with a simple elegant dress that matches the rose behind.

Rock and Roll time with Faye singing 将爱。This song has a little bit of Indian feel to it.

I found out the title of this song to be

. It makes the audience laugh as Faye tried to sing through the loudspeaker.

蛮有趣的一种唱歌方式。用扩音机。哈哈。

Rock and roll style. Halloween is near.

黑色打扮很适合万圣节。

WOW! This is the highlight of the whole concert. This explains her 7 digits insurance cost in Singapore! She sang  天空 and 

但願人長久 which everyone is familiar with!

这是整个演唱会最高潮的时候。点亮了的椅子吊在半空出场达到了令人惊叹的视觉效果。

Feels like Christmas light ups and again, I must say, the view from my seat is great! imagine sitting below. Haha.

Loving the mimosa laser effect. 

Faye choose to end her concert by playing the Heart Sutra. There was no encore. After going to this concert, I realised that I am actually quite fond of her songs. There were many songs that I've actually knew but didn't sing in the KTV at all.
