The Buffet at M Hotel [Appreciation Dinner by Lucy and Irene]

I love December. One of the pros of my Company is that our Year end is in November. So after the stressful and hectic November is over, December is a much more relax and enjoyable period of the whole calender year. Together with the festive season of Christmas, this makes December a month of celebrations and my favourite month of the year.

A long awaited chocolaty cake from CL. She has been wanting to buy this to the office since early December but I was still coughing that time so it's only until today that we got to taste such nice and rich chocolate cake. This cake is not cheap. Though there's not much design and looks quite plain but the chocolate will sent you to heaven straight away.

After work, we, the staffs went to M Hotel for buffet dinner treated by Lucy and Irene. Irene suggested going there. At first, I didn't want to go as it crashes with one of my other gathering, but after I told Irene about it, she kept asking me to go and say all kind of good food that can be found there and that I can always go meet my other friends any other time. This restaurant serves buffet cum steamboat style.

One of the dishes that she highly recommend and said that it would be a waste if I didn't go is this. Can u see the tank of prawns behind? Do u know what the chef is cooking in front live and fresh out of the tank?

It's drunken prawns! Yummy.

The dessert buffet. Eat all u can, cookies, log cakes, puddings.

ice-creams, toppings, soups.

The main dishes.

Turkey for Christmas.

The Yong Tau Fu ingredients for our steamboat.

The other desserts

My favourite dish is the chili crab. The sauce is super addictive with the fried buns and rice. Makes us all go for second, third and fourth rounds. Even though it's super high in cholesterol, we still wants to eat lots of this cause it makes the cost of the buffet more worthwhile rather than eating those Yong Tau Fu's dishes. Heehee.

After eating, it's photo taking time. Using Smilecat app from iPhone to create the above.

A group of us.

The whole group, two have left earlier.

Us at the Christmas tree. Really thanks Lucy and Irene for this scrumptious meal.
