May Day Solidarity Walk

Mum called me during office hour, like an excited child, she told me she too wanted to go to this May Day Solidarity Walk! So I told her, okay, you can wear the size L shirt which initially meant for bf but since bf not going, it became an extra.

When I reached home, mum is already all dressed up in the T-shirt provided. Ended up, she took my cousin's one since she also cannot be located. Size M for Kids, my mum can wear. Pro. Called bro over to gather. As we waited for time to pass. Noticed the sky turned a bit dark so was hoping it wouldn't rain.
------------------------------------------------
Made our way to Kallang MRT station to meet D and E. They were already there. We ate some dessert at Mr Bean before heading to the venue. It was a hot hot day and we were sweating already.

D trying very hard to blow up this beach ball. It's a tough job. We also had a tough time jumping over the drain to get to the big empty field opposite to play this ball. I love playing with this type of ball because even if I get hit, it's not pain at all. Haha. However, by the time we started playing, the walk is soon to start too, so we have to jump back.

For all our effort, we were rewarded with a packed fried rice after completing the 2.3km walk. It really seems a long long walk and there's not much view to watch on the way. Anyway, I think the packaging of the lunch box looks like some insurance product. A small kid holding an apple. It does resemble a PA product in my company. Haha. The apple part I mean.

The rewarding part comes after the tireness. It's our first time to the inside of the Marina Bay Golf Course. Since golf is a rich person's hobby. It was hugh inside and windy too since it's already sun setting time. We were ushered into this big field whereby we used the plastic mat provided to place them on the grass. We had our dinner right there. Just like having a picnic. Then, we watched the performance and also see the total charity amount donated to UCARE.

I love this picture as it shows the sky in two colours. Blue and Pink. So nice. To say the truth, I was so tired, I dozed off during one performance. Only wake up during the last segment whereby the MPs performed a song totally re-lyriced from the Hokkien song "要拼才会赢" . Theirs is called Upturn the Downturn. Super funny la.
