Collection of Ah Gong's Ashes

A peaceful place. The tortoises here usually don't swim in the water but prefer to form a row on the rock to sun tan and listen to the prayers. How fortunate they are.  

This is where the cremation was held yesterday. Number 3.

This is the ashes collection room. The remains of Ah Gong are some bones that we used a pair of chopstick to pick and placed in the urn. They were examining the whitish bones of Ah Gong and they said that they found the bone relics in some part of the bones. 

The urn is later secured at this place whereby the inside is like rows and rows of lockers at Blk 28 Level 5. We went home after that. 

Paying the last respect + Cremation

Ah gong's funeral was a simple one. The burning of the paper money and paper lotus that we folded was only done once and that is today. We have to make sure that all the paper money and lotus are being burnt to complete ashes and we cannot use a stick to rummage through. So the only way we can do is to turn the bin to see if everything has been burnt to ash. Some of the paper lotus below wasn't burnt yet as the papers were too thick so lucky we checked. 

Vegetarian chicken, duck and crab. Made from peanuts. 

The cremation was done at 光明山普觉禅寺。Unlike at the Mandai Crematorium whereby everyone was made to see the whole process of the coffin being pushed into furnace, the process here is some prayers being said by the monks and somebody asked us to throw away our socks and during the time when we throw away the socks, the coffin was pushed in already. This greatly relieved off some sadness and crying. 

Last Night

Tonight's gonna be the last night of the funeral. From 7.30pm to 10pm were the praying and chanting of prayers. I wonder if Ah gong's spirit have gone to heaven already? Hope the prayers would aid Ah Gong along on his journey. It's my parents turn to stay overnight to watch over the place so I'm home alone, not. 

Paper Lotus + Small gifts

Our task today is to fold the paper lotus. 

and I gotten a surprise gift that is my favourite blue and yellow eyes kitty.

 It's a whole tin of stickers and I started choosing my favourite piece. Actually I love them all. So cute but I still picked the one which my mum also liked which is the baby kitty with wordings "So cold".

The basketball court nearby. When it gets too noisy with the chattering inside. I prefer to come out to breath some fresh air and clear my mind. A lot of things are happening. All at a short period of time. I'm not sure if I can handle it all.

Broken pieces. 

First, this white piece of decoration falls out from my shoe. 

Second, the right arm support of my office chair got ripped off. 

Third, the teddy bear clip broke into two pieces.

 I hope all these will just stopped at three. 

Rest in Peace, Ah Gong

Ah Gong passed away on the last day of February. He has been in the hospital for 11 days we all felt that this  is a release of struggle for him. The only regret we have is that nobody was by his side when he passed away in the hospital. Perhaps he doesn't want us to see. He is always a person who do not want others to worry. Even if he falls down, we would only find out days later when we saw the bruise. 

我没有哭，我不能哭，因为哭会让他的灵魂不舍得离开。真的难过，新年时看到的阿公还是挺健康，强壮的。现在望着他那没有生命，瘦了一大半的尸体就觉得生命真的很脆弱。

阿嬤也看得很开，她也照样早晨在楼下做运动，在家看电视。

感谢公司送来的花圈，同事和一些朋友的白金。特别感动就是一位很就没见的朋友还托bf把白金带下来。这次整笔费用快到＄20k ＋了。只希望阿公能往生西方极乐世界!
