[G+ EXCLUSIVE] mioTV US TV marathon at Naumi Hotel

Our Nuffnang G+ event today was held at this boutique hotel called Naumi which is located at the City Hall district. I must be real absorbed in my own world to have missed such a nice and big signage on the outside and walked passed it without realizing that I've reached. Have to do a U-turn and walked back. Luckily I'm still considered early. Only Hui Wen (our Nuffnang person-in-charge of the day) and Xue Ling have reached.

The pass to Room 304 whereby we are in for an afternoon of fairy tales, humor, suspense and horror all in the next five hours! Being a couch potato on a lazy Saturday afternoon certainly beats going home and have nothing to do.

WOW. Such a comfortable looking bed! Together with this dim lighting, I'm having a huge fight with my sleepy bugs. :X

Moving on to the living room is where we find a comfortable spot for our next five hours of mioTV US TV marathon!

Hp is super fast at choosing this comfortable rocking chair. So relaxing! With Peishi in the background. Only get to know her today.

Me and Xue Ling whom I also just get to know recently. She helped me to take most of the photos today. Hehe.

A stack of the latest mioTV Guides for us to learn more of the current mioTV highlights and listings and another stack of brochures which introduce the 10 On Demand US dramas which we can watch as early as 24 hours after their US telecast! No more having to wait for months or years for them to be broadcast in Singapore. Now we just need 24 hours before your can watch it on mioTV!! COOL! For more information, do visit their website at http://www.singtel-ustv.com/ Inside the brochure were also the synopsis of the few US dramas we are going to watch in our TV marathon. Highly popular Glee and Gossip Girl were also available. (Thanks Jacke the Deputy Director, IPTV Promotion of Singtel for his friendly introduction and explanation to us on the mioTV part.)

Some delicious snacks for us to munch on while enjoying the dramas!

Hart of dixie
Once Upon a Time
Revenge
Happy Endings
2 Broke Girls
American Horror Story

A feel-good drama from the producers of Gossip Girl and the O.C. I liked the way it's like a first person narration.

Our favourite fairy-tale characters are trapped and lost all memories of their identities. This drama switches between their current life and also life before they lost their memories in the fairy tale world. Pretty confusing but intriguing.

The title says it all. Revenge is all about how Emily plots to take revenge on a wealthy family who wronged her father in the past. This drama keeps me in suspense.

Happy endings but we only watched the first episode so cannot comment whether the ending is really happy or not.

A real comedy between this two waitress who started as strangers but later become roommates and bosom friends. their two contrasting personalities stir up a lot of funny scenes.

And they choose this drama to be shown at the last when it's getting kind of dark outside. American horror story is about one already dysfunctional family who decided to move to start life afresh but ended up moving into a haunted mansion. Crazy things start happening. I find this drama more disturbing rather than scary.

So actually my home is subscribing to the SingTel Mio Home plan.

I also have this mio box at home but previously when the salesman promoted to my father about the mioTV channels, I wasn't at home. In the end, my father signed what he recommended and that is the Mei Ah Channel which is ok for me and another called mom-on-demand Channel which I felt that I'm paying $13+ for a channel that we didn't even watch. Out of frustration, we have terminate this two channels and kept the mio box in the storeroom. Now, after going to this US TV marathon, I might consider connecting it back to the TV and order some US series to watch for watching just one episode is definitely not enough. Once again, thanks Nuffnang and SingTel for the invites!
