[Event] Energizer®'s Brand Refresh Trade Launch at Canvas Club

Energizer® Introduces a Powerful New Look with the iconic Mr. Energizer™ to take center stage

Energizer®, makers of Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™, the world's longest-lasting AA battery announced today at the trade launch event held at Canvas Club on the introduction of the brand's re-energized look. This includes new packaging, in-store displays, logo and advertising for its battery product lines, as well as an even more prominent role for Mr. Energizer™, the brand's beloved charismatic character.



This brand new look for Energizer® will allow consumers to better find the best product that suit their needs easily and intuitively. Whether it's the world's longest-lasting Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ AA battery, a lithium coin battery or an Energizer® Recharge® rechargeable battery, the new packaging provide a contemporary look with lighter, brighter presentation and distinct colour schemes that will help consumers quickly identify the right choice of batteries they wanted to buy.

This new changes also represent the first major update to the Energizer® look since 2008 and will be make effective across the entire Energizer® portfolio, starting with the batteries.


Even the iconic Mr. Energizer™ has evolved to a brand new look. Mr. Energizer™ is the embodiment of physical energy, a living Energizer® battery who's always being spotted with a wink and a smile and always up for a new challenge or a friendly competition. He's an animated character who lives in the real world and marvels at it with curious enthusiasm. His lasting endurance and fun-loving personality reflect the spirit of the Energizer® brand.

Energizer® Introduces Max Plus™ - Energizer®'s No. 1 Longest Lasting AA & AAA Alkaline Batteries



During the event, we were also introduced to the new line of performance alkaline batteries by Energizer®. The Max Plus™ series is their Longest Lasting Alkaline AA & AAA batteries that provide powerful performance for your devices with up to 12 years of Shelf Life and In-Device leakage protection.

A fun-filled afternoon of food, games and magic show



Upon reaching Canvas Club, a good spread of welcome reception was already lined up for us. Despite us already taken our lunch, we still took some quick bites.


There's even a photobooth for us to take GIF photo. 


Ms. Diane Lee, Business Director, Malaysia and Singapore gave the welcome speech and mentioned how the new brand identity would help Energizer® continue to become the chosen brand for consumers.


Ms. Gwen Nam, brand manager of Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia came up next to introduce the new Max Plus range and explained why the brand needs to evolve even though they were leading in most of the segments. There was a need to stay relevant  as consumer needs were changing.




Witnessed the official launch and took a short video clip.


After which, we played a mass kahoot game where 15 questions were posted on the screen. Players not only had to be accurate with their answers but also fast enough! The fastest and correct answer would give more points and would be accumulated till the end of the game to determine the winner. I'm quite lucky to win second prize in this game with 11 correct answers and had the chance to go up to the stage to receive an additional prize.


However, that's not the end of the event yet as we were further entertained by a magic show performance put up by Singapore's award-winning digital magician. He was also the winner of Singapore's first Golden Buzzer on Asia's Got Talent. Quite amazing!
