Malaysia Trip Day 2 - Genting

Breakfast at Hotel Rosa.

Though they don't provide much variety for their buffet, every dishes are extremely tasty. Especially the Bee Hoon and Nasi Lemak Rice and chili. Without skill, even food like bee hoon will become bland and tasteless. This is the best hotel breakfast out of my 3 days there.

Travel along the 南北大道 (南北大道是一条把马来半岛切成一半的道路) North-South Expressway (NSE) from Cameron Highland to Genting Highland. Someone asked the tour guide whether Cameron Highland is higher or Genting and the answer is Cameron Highland that is about 1800m tall. Looking out of the window, all around we see trees, trees and more tress that is because about 60% - 70% of the country are tress! Especially in Eastern Malaysia. They know the importance of going green. Some city has turned into a desert after going through too much development project.

After that, he started to recommend us to go to Putrajaya during night time which is near KL. That place is also in line with the green movement and they have different designs for traffic lights and about 60+ made-make lakes.

Some random talks include things like Satay originate from Hokkien not Malay. Cause "san teh" means three pieces of meat. All these informations were told to us by our young tour guide who is from Batu Pahat (he said there's more than 500 temples there) and is born on 31st Dec 88. 真是佩服!

We reached Genting at about 3pm+ and it took like another 30 minutes to be able to check into the First World Hotel (said to be the hotel that has the most number of rooms). Left with so little time, we decided to skip the theme park and wanted to catch a movie. To our dismay, the next available timing which is the 9pm show was all sold out! After that were all 1am shows. So late who would want to watch? Wanted to enter the casino but they've got rules like carrying plastic bag (shopped for some gifts already) cannot enter, wearing slipper (bf and I wore slipper) cannot enter also. Never mind, after shopping, we go back to our hotel room and rest. The TV reception was poor also. BORING.

*Snap Snap*

Bf and I toss some coin into this wishing wall and this ended up attracting so many kids. They were trying to tell us the coins can be taken back one (means faster grab it before it roll down) and they started to grab the coins we threw in. They were rather curious with the Singapore coin I threw in.

The famous 巴黎铁塔。

The Christmas lights up!
