GV Movie Club 2nd bday celebration - 4bia + Phobia 2

When I first received the email from Golden Village, I thought this is something interesting to try out. Admission to 2 films + Popcorn Combo and the VIP ticket holder will be entitled to an additional Thai Buffet Dinner and Thai Dessert and on top of that we can also get a $10 Jetstar Travel Voucher, Free entry to Powerhouse or Movida at St James Power Station and special hotel rates in Thailand. It's like so many goodies pack in one. So I asked bf whether he is interested or not. Who knows he rejected me straight away saying he don't want to watch horror movies. Try my luck and MSN Samena to see whether she's interested and luckily she also seems quite keen to go. XD

Cool. She went to book the tickets online the following day after our MSN conversation and we started counting down to this day. LOL. OT abit and left to VIVO City. I have many tasks to be done at VIVO like getting my complimentaryTangs card, buying a Yo-yo for bf as he has been pastering me for weeks. Samena went to queue for the tickets first. Although I OT abit, we were still not consider late. We were among the first few and we can't go and have dinner since we will be having the buffet at 8pm. So we just shopped around the usual shops there like Challenger. Spent the most of the time at the bookshop there. Flipping through some weird weird books.

We were the first to start the buffet and the food were ok ok. The glass noodle was COLD and we were not very used to it. I think the dessert was yummy. Thai desserts always taste great because they used a lot of coconut milk.

Our ticket. Turned out N-33 was a LUCKY ticket. When the host from 987FM Shan and Rozz asked us to feel a paper beneath our seat, I could feel the paper. I thought the paper would be under everyone's seat but ended out it was only for those who won prizes. The grand prize I think is air-ticket and only one guy gotten it. The rest are like watches and perfumes.

The lucky ticket that won a perfume. :D Excited, have to go up there and say my name. This perfume I don't quite like the smell, I prefer those sweet sweet de like Escada. Heehee.

The four main charecters Puak, Shin, Ter and Aek were hilarious! Loved them in both 4bia and Phobia 2.

4bia is made up of 4 short horror stories. All the four stories leave deep memories and Samena has watched before so she can agar agar tell me.

First story is without any dialogue. It's all about SMS-ing. It's really sent a chill to my back when the lady sms to the so called "guy whom she thought can be her bf" said he is lying down in a cramp place. Cannot use computer. Another scary part is when the guy requested a photo of the lady and so she took a self pic and sent to her and when she demand that the guy should also sent one back, he sent back the same photo and said he is RIGHT BESIDE HER!!! OMG~

Second story is kind of lame. It's about school bullies and the boy who keep getting bullied learnt black magic. Anyone who saw the page of the book will died a horric death. The whole gang died except one girl. She survived because she digged her eyes out so she wouldn't be able to see. TOTALLY GROSS!!

Third story is about the four young man who go camping and actually the 4 of them died but they didn't know until they saw their own body floating on the river. Haha. This story is kind of funny because the 4 main charecters are acting in it.

The last story is about a princess dead and her dead body was wrapped up like a mummy and being transported back through airplane. Then, she came alive and toture the flight attendence who coincidently stolen her husband.

Phobia 2 is 5 short stories directed by 5 different directors. So the 5 stories are of different style.

First story is talking about retributation. The little boy do not repent his mistake and in the end he got treated the same way as he did to others. Throwing stones.

Second story about hospital. This story quite LAME. I got nothing much to say about it.

Third story about Zombies. The whole truck were transporting innocent people who were being forced to stuff drugs in balloons down their stomach. All of them died and become zombies. In the end, nobody survived, all got bitten by the zombie and became zombies. LOL. Also quite lame but it address the issue of those people using this type of method to bring drugs over to other places.

Fourth story about cars salesroom. This car salesroom is not selling normal cars but selling 2nd hand cars that have been through accidents and the passengers have either died in it or hurt badly. However, the owner just replace the spare parts, repaint them and still continue to sell the "bad" cars. The sprits of the victims thus hunt the car and the story ended with the owner accidentally killed her own son. Disgusting. Quite scary too. The son was rolled up in the wheels. The salesroom was empty because the owner was working late and everyone has gone home so there's alot of echo and she running up and down only surrundered by those hunted cars.

Fifth and last story is the funniest. In fact after watching the last story, we laugh laugh laugh until cannot remember the horror part already. So it's great to put this at the last. I liked both 4bia and Phobia 2 but if to pick one, I think I like 4bia storyline better.

Took a cab home, I sit in the front passenger seat because I don't want to sit alone behind. The taxi uncle so funny asked whether I'm Singaporean or not because he said Singapore gals don't sit in front one. Haha.
