Pak Tor @ Hort Park :)

Double date with my parents and bf to the Hort Park. It's somewhat like Botanic Garden but here, I found alot more unique flowers, plants and herbs. We also had fun playing at the playground and taking photos there. The only thing that I think needs improvements is that there's a lack of signboard. Signboard to tell me the names of everything there.

Welcome to the simple life at Hortpark. Here, you will experience and see the natural and sunny side of Singapore. Please get ready for your sun block lotion as the sun will be very strong at this point of time which is 4pm in the afternoon.

Rows and rows of cactus. Strangely when I bought one myself, the flower just won't bloom. It eventually shrinked up and died. =(

The leaves of this plant looks like there's alot of thorns on it but actually the thorns are soft so it's safe to touch.

Ahh. This is a dangerous plant. The insect trap. We used a stick to pop inside the leave and slowly the leave closed up. So if you are an insect, once you crawl in, there's no way you can escape cause firstly your tiny feet will be glued by the sticky liquid the leave will produce and secondly, the leaves will close up tightly, suffocating you to death. Really scary!!!

Bamboo labyrinth. So green, so nice. Looks like some chinese paintings and there's steps telling you how to walk through this 'path of life'.

This plant is equally cute. Like mini pots.

B-A-N-A-N-A tree. Both the flower and the fruits looks disgusting. =X. No wonder so many ghost stories are usually associated with banana trees.

It's a heart shape!

Last time in my primary school, we have a mini garden that is full of this flower. My friends and I would pluck some out to suck the sweet liquid inside. Haha. It's funny cause it seems like we just knew the liquid inside is safe for consumption but I can't rembered the name of this flower.

Giant Pea or what?

Taking a break on the stone.

I thought sunflowers love sunlight, but these sunflowers definitely think the sunlight is too strong for them. Look at how wrinkled they've become.

Too bad the cooling house is not opened. The flowers inside are much much nicer and prettier.

We amazed ourselves with this maze. Looks simple, but needs lots of co-ordination if you are playing it with other people. For me, it's too heavy to play alone.

My parents took like 15 minutes to complete the maze. Their teamwork not very good. Haha.

Nice photos. Sometime I think it's not about how good a camera one use, it's about the object you are to capture. How beautiful they are. Look at these photos. I took them just with my not so good camera and they turned out so nice.

Photos of me. ^^

Haha. We saw the two penguins and sadly from far, we really mistaken them as dolphins.
