[Travel] Day trip to JB, Malaysia sponsored by Company

My Company organize a team challenge and the winning prize was a team bonding day trip to JB. I was very happy that my team achieved the target, and I got to join the trip. This was my first travel for 2024, in the beginning of the year, during one of the work events, I actually mentioned that I wanted to travel more, with at least 3 trips this year, I guess I could considered this as 1 trip. 

We assembled at Kranji at 12.30 pm and boarded the bus that took us to our destinations. The group split up into different activities - shopping, KTV, Escape Room and massage. I opted for the much needed massage so I can spent the time relaxing.

The whole group that went for the massage therapy all decided on doing the full body massage. After the therapist was assigned to us, we started off with a foot wash at level 1 before heading to the second floor. The full body massage was so comfortable, it almost put me to sleep! After the massage, J bought us a box of egg tarts for sharing. It was so nice, I ate two. We also had some drinks from the massage shop. 

Next, we headed to Mid Valley Southkey for some shopping time, where I bought some essentials and snacks. We spent about 2 hours free and easy time here to shop. Mid Valley Southkey is really a big mall, I walked around on my own and it gets a bit boring after a while. 

We all gathered together for dinner at Senibong Bay Seafood, which offered delicious food and a lovely riverside view. The chili crab and chao tar bee hoon was a highlight! 

The foodie me really enjoyed the food here and I think I will come back here again. We returned back to Singapore by bus again and luckily they've added more stops along the way, including Jurong East, which was more convenient for me. Overall, it was a wonderful and relaxing trip, other than the shopping expenses which I have to pay myself, the rest were fully sponsored. I just wish that more team members could have joined in.
