Shortly after we moved into our new home, we received an invitation on the official opening of Ayer Rajah Community Club. Learnt that this was after two years of extensive renovations. Taking this as a chance to explore our neighbourhood, we decided to go for this event.
We joined the guided tour around the Community Club and learn about the different activity groups with demonstrations and tryouts. The new Ayer Rajah CC features a more comprehensive list of new facilities to cater to the different interest group of residents here.
The facilities include a new concept gym, dance studio, music and jamming studio, KTV, enhanced culinary studio, sheltered basketball court and bonsai garden. There is also a childcare centre and an upcoming eldercare service centre.
As for interest groups, there is more than 60 interest groups such as KPOP dance, drumming, balloon sculpting, yoga, etc. Residents can look forward to making new friends, learn new things and keeping fit at the same time.
This limited edition Ayer Rajah CC Cashcard was given out upon completion of the guided tour. We also get to apply for free PAssion Card membership worth $12.
At 11.00am sharp, Ayer Rajah Community Club was officially declared open by Grassroots Adviser Ms Foo Mee Har, MP for West Coast GRC.
It's a place to gather for a meal, a cup of coffee, watch a movie, read or even study and play sports. I look forward to joining some courses there soon.
XOXO
