Magic, The Churp Churp Gathering !

The first much awaited Churp Churp gathering after two years. This event also crash with a movie event from Nuffnang so the blogger crowd is dispersed in two places.

We were the first few to reach. Still empty.
I love the wall. Guess it's painted by the students here.

Since the event has not started yet, we have a lot of time to explore around this place and took photos with the artworks which are beautifully painted.

I have a Twitter account but not really sure how to use it. What is the difference between the @ and # there? Also not many of my friends are on Twitter so I seldom use it. However, since there's this label that asked us to Twitpic, so I posted the photo below on my Twitter and somehow seems to get the hang of it.

Taking more photos with the Churp Churp painting on the cloth. We were also given an instant print out of the photo. 

We were given badges to pin on our clothes. The three of us all gotten different characteristic badges. This is later a useful tool for playing games.

Okay the event finally started. As usual there's the fun ice breaking games.

Bro got picked too for the second round and he got to play this game with Boss Ming. Haha. So below is a short video of how this game is played. The first one is easy. I guessed it before the hint was given. The second round is super duper funny. 

The real magic starts.

Though I say it's common, it doesn't mean that I know how it's done.
So I'm still amazed. Hehe!

Next magic performed by him was to turn a S$10 note to a S$50 note. After which, it's the star bloggers turn to perform.

The dice trick.
Somehow she can guess what the number of the dice was.

This trick is quite easy to perform.
I knew the secret.
But have to be careful not to get exposed during the show.

I got chosen to go up to be the magician's assistant too.
Poker card trick.

Took a break from the magic tricks and we played "Fastest Fingers First". Something like a dictation in school. We have to listen to a passage that was read out to us and we have to be the first few to type in exactly and send through Twitter. Today's really the day that I tweet so much. Haha. The first round "Fastest Fingers" won Churp Churp thumbdrive! For the second round, Bf took away my iPhone, turned off the auto correction and we won a Churp Churp plushie.

The last magic performed was a mind game show. Bro got call up the second time as he caught the soft toy that was thrown out. LOL! So lucky. For this magic trick, everyone have to pick a coin from a bag. Someone would get the coin that is marked with a "X". The magician job is to ask a series of questions and later determine if that person have the "X" coin with him/her.

Next two. The lady on the left was asked to stay on. 

Bro's turn. He said bro's a honest guy and wouldn't lie. 

He can't decided who has the "X" coin. 

She has the "X" coin!
As a token of appreciation, he folded a rose made of tissue paper.
Lighted it up on fire and it changed to a real rose.
Very good trick to impress gals. 

 Lastly, it's refreshment time. There's so many Churp Churp's cupcakes. 

Other small bites.

Didn't stayed on for long as my camera is out of battery and I have a Sony workshop in the evening. Rushed home to charge and have to go out again.
