Last day of Feb - Samsung F480 Workshop and Slumdog Millionaire

I'm not sure why but I realised I've got invitation for quite alot of events held at Vivo City. It is actually good for me since it's nearer to my workplace then any other location. Today, after work, I went to attend a Samsung F480 workshop. It was rather informative. Really explored those applications that was in built in the phone but I've not tried exploring yet. One of which is the Music Recognition. So my phone is so smart, I just have to play a part of a particular song and it would be able to get the information of that song! Of course the usual charges applies. I believe he is also a keen photographer as he also explained to us some technique of taking photos using this phone. Like white balance, ISO, etc. Many a times, we didn't choose the correct setting thus a beautiful picture is being ruined.

These two cute cute appears in Samsung advertisments.

After the 2 hours workshop, bf came and we had dinner before we went for movie. Have gotten free movie vouchers from Ah Noi, it was very good since there is no fixed movies we have to choose. In the end, I decided to watch the 8 oscars awards winning movie "Slumdog Millionaire"!

Traffic jam due to car accident in the morning

Got stuck in the traffic jam and was late for work this morning.
The traffic flow was unusually slow.
The only reason I could think of was an accident has happened.
And I was right.
Right at the traffic light junction.
A red car was seen as going the opposite direction.
Terrible. Look at the damaged of the car.

The curious case of Benjamin Button @ Tiong Bahru

I finally talked to my boss about me wanted to take a half day leave on wednesday. I've already got a feeling he won't approved my leave. He mean it when he say now is time to start work. No excuse. He is also not someone who is in favour of people clearing leave. The only time we can take leave should be when he is also taking leave. True enough, he rejected my leave right away. Felt stupid that I even bring out the reason of taking leave. Next time if I know he needs to know a reason I better don't try.

After work, went to Tiong Bahru to meet bf. We had dinner at a Japanese restuarant before we went to get our free movie.

"The curious case of Benjamin Button" by David Fincher was a very facinating movie though lengthy (165 minutes). After watching I still keep thinking about the movie plot and was discussing with bf about it.

"My name is Benjamin Button
and I was born in unusual circumstances
While everybody else was aging,
I was getting younger...
all alone"
What would you do if u found a baby with a face and body of an old man?
Would you thought that the baby was a demon and put the baby on the doorstep of a stranger like what the father in the movie did or would you keep the baby and raised the baby as if he's normal?

Surprised shifting of the furnitures in my bedroom, more spacious now.

Lazy sunday

After six months or so, LG 老娘 finally posts up her ROM photos.
Keke. Here's two of the many photos I've stolen from her blog.
There's still alot more there which I'm lazy to go through

The ambiance was great for their ROM.

Breezy and under the starry night. Romantic.
See the night scene behind us?
Can't wait to go for her house warming this year!~ :D

ROM aside.
This Valentine's day, most of my single friends all got themselves a date.
Eileen aka neighbour, Stel, Ling.
Was so happy my neighbour always shares her joys with me thru MSN.
Really makes me smile and remind me of those days when bf and I just knew each other.
So sweet.
She really have found the one for herself.
The one who shares the same interest as her.
Music. Piano. KTV.
Really wishes them 幸福,快乐。

Happy Valentine's Day ~ L.O.V.E @ Yuki Yaki

Valentine's day is not a day for lovers, but a day for love, so shower everyone you love with lots of LOVE today! KeKe

ღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღ

My celebration of valentine's day begins early in the morning at the office when boss brought muffins and cakes from the Singapore Island Country Club for us as valentine's breakfast. Even as he bring his family there for breakfast, he still thinks of us and bought for us from there. Nice boss huh? Today at work, was busy preparing stuff for the roadshow. Luckily I got one small helper to help me preparing also. Hehe.

After work, bf ask me to wait for him at the opposite bus stop. We went to Marina Square for the lunch buffet at Yuki Yaki recemmended by him. He went before during his poly days but I've never been there before. Glad that I don't have to do much planning.

The lunch buffet starts at 3pm so we still have some time to go for a sip at Starbucks.

"Yuki Yaki introduces the first Do-It-Yourself steamboat, Teppanyaki & Ice Cream Buffet, bringing you into a era of new age dining.

Each table in Yuki Yaki is equipped with two in-built stoves for steamboat and teppanyaki. Diners can enjoy a wide selection of more than 90 mouth-watering food items. Seafood items like mussels, sea cucumber, salmon, prawns, cuttlefish etc. Meat items like beef, chicken, lamb, pork etc. Yong Tau Foo items and fresh vegetables and many more.

After one enjoys its main course, its' time for desserts! The Teppanyaki Pan is thoroughly cleansed by the service staff and the thermostat adjusted to a cold temperature, ready for ice cream making. Choose from a generous variety of ice cream flavours and your can start enjoying your ice cream. Truly a revolutionized experience."

They have a wide selection of food to be cooked. From the fozens fishballs category, to meat category, to bee hoon category and not forgetting the sushi since this is sort of under the japanese restaurant.

The cooking style is simple. One side of the table is for you to grilled your food.
The other is soup based and you can still choose up to 2 different soup base.
We had chicken and tom yum.

He in charged of the grilling and I of the soup.

After the main course come the dessert! Fruits and DIY ice-cream!~
The ice cream all comes in liquid form and we were being moved to a different table.
The stove is set to freezing point so the moment you pour the liquid in, it only takes a few minutes before it turned into the solid form.

First we tried with one flavour...

Subsequently, we mixed 3 flavours.

Next, being more creatives, we come out with new flavours! Watermelon ice cream. Hahaha. After eating, we shopped around Marina Square. Saw many ladies with rose in their hand but bf didn't get me any flower and he even say want to buy there and then. I refused to let him buy. In the end, he asked me to buy what I want and he will pay for them. So I bought clothes. LOl. Expanses fully reimbursed by him.
