[Review] Logitech® : Keys-To-Go

Logitech® launched this standalone iPad/iPhone keyboard known as Keys-To-Go somewhere in the last quarter of 2014. Unlike the usual keyboards for iPad that has to be attached to the iPad as a casing, this Keys-To-Go doesn't need to be attached and hence reduces a lot of hassle of changing the casing.

KEY FEATURES

•  Ultra-portable: The Logitech Keys-To-Go is surprisingly thin and light, it doesn't really add on to the extra weight of my bag when I bring it out with me outside. It's ready to use whenever I need it. Simply connect via Bluetooth® to start using it. 

•  Water-repellent and wipeable FabricSkin: The durable FabricSkin covering helps to protect the keyboard from spills and dirt. This means that no biscuit crumbs will get stuck in between your keys and liquid can be wipe off easily. Suitable for use indoors or outdoors.

• Comfortable Keys and iOS® shortcuts: To ensure a comfortable typing experience, the keys of the Bluetooth® keyboard are well-spaced. The shortcuts are suitable for iOS. 

• Rechargeable battery and battery check indicator: The battery are rechargeable and can last up to three months (based on an average usage of two hours per day) and has an indicator to show you when it's low. 

Bringing it out with me for photo shoot on V day. Didn't really do much typing here. Incidentally, there's three different colours for the Keys-To-Go, Black, Blue and Red. I've got the red keyboard which matches the red roses well.

Checking my emails while waiting for my food to arrive. If only the iPad can be used to type my blog post, I would be able to do my postings on-the-go with this keys-to-go.

I used it more for minutes taking during meetings at work. It's really convenient and makes typing so much faster. I can complete my minutes straight away instead of just taking down the key points and retyping them at the desktop later.

After using it for about a month, I find the Logitech® Keys-To-Go like I've mentioned, extremely portable, spill resistant and the keys are similar to the keys of a normal laptop thus provides good typing experience. It is optimized for iOS and works with all models of iPad - old or new - as well as with your iPhone. If you have an Apple TV at home, you can also use it to control your Apple TV. Retailing at S$99.00 with a 1-year limited hardware warranty in Singapore.
