Dinner at OWL Cafe + Launch Party of Mid-week City Escape at Da Paolo BistroBar

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!

Just knowing that today's Wednesday is a great feeling, cause it simply means that it's the middle of the week and I'm way over the Monday Blues syndromes plus my precious weekends are closer!

Meet up with Jess Baby and had dinner at OWL Cafe, Star Vista. OWL Coffee is a household brand name and now that they've opened up a cafe, I'm rather curious to try out their dishes! Thanks Jess for introducing me to this cafe.

Their food were inspired by the culturally rich Straits Asian region. We ordered one curry chicken with bread ($7.90), kaya butter toast ($2.00) and teh ($2.20). Shiok! Review to be up soon. Shall bring my parents to have dinner there one of these days.

After our dinner, we slowly made our way to 3 Rochester Park for the launch party of Mid-week City Escape at Da Paolo BistroBar organised by LifestyleAsia.

This newly-launched lounge at Da Paolo BistroBar is nestled in the lush greenery of the Rochester Park. It's the perfect place to chill out and relax from a stressful workday as it's located far away from the city buzz. Not only is there a dinning area, there's also the option of drinking at the bar or lounging at one of the many plush sofas. The drinking area provides exclusive cocktails and yummy bar bites.

Do note that every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, resident DHs Stephen Day, Avneesh, and Debbie Chia would also be there to spin groovy down-tempo music and funky beats to soothe your stresses away.

Jess and I dressing to impress. Thanks Jess for the photo! It was an evening of scrumptious canapes and drinks sponsored by premium spirit EFFEN Vodka.

Thanks Jess again for the gifts. I've got new bag!!! Think she knows very well that I need to change my bag for the new year as I keep bringing out the black sports bag which doesn't suit some occasions. Now this bag comes just in time for the Chinese New Year. Cheers!
