Today is the last episode of my favourite must watch show on TV lately. Only 20 episodes in total and I faithfully watched it every single night. =) Only missed one episode and a few parts during those days when I was too tired after work and dozed off but later wake up to watch. Am satisfied with the ending. Happy ending makes me happy too :)
The sassy mother-in-law (O-Jie AKA Ophelia) is the chief editor of a famous fashion magazine called ELVA and Myolie Wu (Zhou Limin AKA A-min) acts as a tomboyish police officer who falls in love and married Ophelia's son portrayed by Bosco Wong (Kyle). A-min in the later part of the show loses her job in the police force and went to work for her mother-in-law. Relationship was strained not only at home but at work too but the last few episode we can see the both of them eventually turned into best friend. There's a slight element of similarity of this show to the movie "The Devil wears Prada".
There's a quote from Ophelia which I felt meaningful and that is "This world is round, you may be at the top of the world this minute, but the next moment, the world might just turn upside down."
Another quote from Limen was "This time not right, the next time I will do it better."
Simply love the ending theme song called 感激遇到你~ Bosco and Myolie not only looks compatible on tv but off screen too. So match! No wonder there's so much rumours of them being a couple. Visit this blog for some juicy but outdated news on Bosco and Myolie. Heehee.
