Back at illumi for a spook-tacular Halloween Edition! My girl's excitement hasn't waned since our September visit (read post here). We met up with Pink and Enya at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and enjoyed a complimentary Sampan boat ride. Thanks Pink for getting us the tickets! It's our first time riding on this. Before heading to Bayfront Event Space, my girl and I transformed into skeletons which is our Halloween costume for the night!
We arrived at the event space early and waited outside. The girls were captivated by the gigantic inflated Mr. Pumpkin Man and couldn't stop playing with it.
At last, it's time to enter. Now, let the trick-or-treat adventure begin! The Halloween Edition of illumi offers a unique twist to the usual experience, featuring an array of spooky decorations and surprises. In fact, there were three big pumpkins at the main area.
Upon entry, visitors receive a game card, which serves as a passport to five trick-or-treat stations. By completing challenges at each station, visitors can redeem the completed card for a complimentary merchandise item (while stocks last) at the final station. This adds an exciting layer of interactions to the event. After taking some photos at the main area, we entered The Magical Forest.

First Station - Spooky Touch
THE INFINITE POLES
This section remains largely unchanged, without much Halloween elements added. The winter wonderland scene was completed this time round with snowfall! The kids' imagination ran wild as they pretended to brave through the chilly weather outside while seeking refuge in the cozy igloo which in actual reality, the temperature is the same inside or outside.
Second Station - Shipwreck Crossing
At this station, the girls get to roll a mini pumpkin as far as possible to summon the spirits of the long-lost pirates.
THE TUNNEL OF COLOURS
Spotted some skeletons on the wall too.
LOTS OF FUN
The only indoor section. The girls had so much fun playing inside this tentage.
Third Station - Cursed Number
Count the pumpkins scattered around the floor to get a candy! We took a short break here to relax and enjoy the treats we've collected.
THE JURASSIC KINGDOM
The only photo I took which is not dinosaurs or Halloween related. Oops.
THE ENCHANTED MAPLE
More pumpkins!
Fourth Station - The Dark Room
This feels like exploring a haunted house in an amusement park, but without the intense fear.
Fifth and Last Station - Spelloween
We solved the Halloween word scramble! With our card fully stamped, my girl redeemed it for a cool prize - a pair of flashing pink glasses. Nice!
ILU THE MASCOT
The girls received stickers from ILU, the lovable illumi mascot.
illumi offers even more beyond what I've mentioned above, there's also rides including carousel and swing chairs, face painting, tarot card reading and more. It is the perfect place to visit for families looking for a delightful, not-too-spooky Halloween experience. The vibrant atmosphere ensures a memorable and enjoyable visit for all ages, making it a perfect choice for a family-friendly Halloween outing. I'm looking forward to seeing more themed decorations for the upcoming festive season. Be sure to take lots of photos and videos there!
