[Personal] MARIGOLD Squash Campaign + Dinner at JDB Jackpot

Discover the Joy of Squash with MARIGOLD

To keep my girl active during the June school holiday, I signed her up for the MARIGOLD Squash Campaign for a 1-hour free try-out session for kids aged 6 to 14 years old. Held at the Kallang Squash Centre, squash rackets are provided for the try out and I think my girl looks super cool with the protective glasses.

This event is organized by Singapore Squash and supported by MARIGOLD. During the one hour, the kids not only learn about the basics of squash, but also get the chance to mingle with other kids and try the sport out for themselves. It’s a great way to encourage teamwork, improve hand-eye coordination, and boost confidence, all while having a blast on the squash court!

For those who are keen to continue this squash journey, additional training sessions at a subsidized rate are also available for sign-up after the free trials. Even though my girl enjoyed it, the locations for the training sessions are all in the far east. Considering the distance we had to travel, we decided to give it a miss for now.

All participants not only received a complimentary MARIGOLD goodie bag during registration but also enjoyed free-flow MARIGOLD drinks and jellies at the on-site fridge that was set up.

Hotpot Dinner at JDB Jackpot

Met up with hubby for a charcoal steamboat buffet dinner at JDB Jackpot. For 90 minutes, we also get to enjoy free flow drinks (calamansi, lemon tea or water chestnut) and ice-cream.

The main highlight for the dinner buffet has got to be this live prawning where we get to eat fresh prawns caught straight from the tank. The uncles at the other table even gave my hubby some tips on how to handle the live prawns.

It was an enjoyable meal for us.

XOXO
