This Christmas holiday, Product Of New York, PONY collaborated with Swarovski to launch their latest collection entitled "Refraction", which will see the classic PONY footwear and apparel seamlessly infused with Swarovski crystals.
Inspired from the fact that crystal diffuses light to emanate its exceptional state, this collection revolves around the idea that we all have a spark that lives in each one of us. However, just like how a fire needs fuel to burn, we need help from people around us to kindle that light within. We need people who can refract our energy, so we can discover sides of ourselves we never knew existed.
Ultimately, we can ignite that spark and discharge our light to the world with the help from our family and friends. Through this light, we radiate our innate strength, our passion and our true essence by maximizing our fullest potential to become the best version of ourselves.
This philosophy is exactly what the collection aims to achieve as it fuses the two distinctive brands into one. Pony - an American footwear industry veteran working together with Swarovski is where the quintessence of street style meet the realm of luxe.
Taken reference from the rugged yet jaunty streets of New York City, Refraction features a bold and androgynous collection of oversized shirts, drop-crotch shorts, jackets and footwear ranging from $89.90 to $199.90 in the colours of black, white and red. It embodies a carefree and laid-back attitude tempered with sophistication for a fresh take on street-style. With its clean silhouette and streamlined shape ornate with detailing, there is a certain glamour while retaining the brand's youthful energy. Each piece transcends time and trends which encapsulates a celebration of individuality and eccentricity, fused with timeless glamour and sophistication.
Was glad to be invited and be part of the Refraction launch event in Singapore. Together with Meryl and a few other invitees, we were the first to check out a total of 11 pieces that was unveiled during this premier launch event in Singapore.
