[EVENT] Golden Village's Kids Film Fiesta from 3rd to 11th November

Bring your kids to the cinema for the first ever Golden Village Kids Film Fiesta happening from 3rd to 11th November 2018! Embark on the journey to eight different magical animated adventures with seven of the titles that have never been screened before in Singapore.

Curated specifically with kids in mind, the Kids Film Fiesta will kick off on the 3rd November 2018 which is a Saturday with the film Foodiverse in Mandarin, which is written and directed by animation veteran Chen Liaoyu. A chance to get your kids to be excited about the food as the film is set in the world of foodies as Heroes Miss Penny (dumpling) and Mr Podge (Steamed bun) came together to save the food universe.

During the opening day, there will also be a Foodiverse Family Day event held at the GV Grand, Great World City just before the screening of Foodiverse. There will be activities like photobooth, glitter and airbrush tattoo and Foodiverse character clay keychain making workshop for the kids. The family will also get to bring back a goodie bag and win attractive prizes.

For kids who love some great action animation, Stan Lee's Chakra The Invincible: The Rise of Infinitus and Stan Lee's Chakra The Invincible: Mystery of Mighty Girl where 8-year-old Raju Rai protects the people of Mumbai as Chakra The Invincible. Stan Lee, the creator of Marvel's finest superheroes continues to excite audiences by creating animated superhero movies targeting the young movie fans.

Also featuring in the Kids Film Fiesta is the Oscar-nominated two-part series The Gruffalo & The Gruffalo's Child, winner of Best of The Fest at the 2010 Chicago's International Children's Film Festival and the Audience Award Short Films (ages 3-6) at the 2012 New York International Children's Film Festival respectively.

To conclude the Kids Film Fiesta, little fans of The Gruffalo will get to meet the mascot on Sunday, 11th November at The Gruffalo & The Gruffalo's Child Family Day event held at GV Grand. Stand a chance to win movie merchandise and photo opportunities with The Gruffalo!

Adding to the Kids Film Fiesta's animation line-up are four more never-been-screened in Singapore tiltes: Kikoriki: Déjà Vu, Picnic with Cake, NO-NO:RISING WATERS IN UNDERWOOD SPRINGS & OTHER ADVENTURES and Story Time.

I attended the preview screening of  Kikoriki: Déjà Vu with my family. This was the first time Rena stepped into a movie theatre even though this movie is more suitable for kids aged 6 and above. It was quite an experience and she did kick up a fuss in the middle of the movie. I had to bring her out to clam her down. The movie was about this cute, restless blue bunny called Krash who decided to organise an unforgettable birthday bash for his friends. He contacts the Déjà Vu agency and the group ended up in a journey through time travel in different periods of history.

Another good news to add, simply make your purchase of a minimum of two tickets online, and you will stand a chance to win one of three sets of prizes sponsored by Brandt! The prize package includes a 26L Black Table Top Solo Microwave and a Brandt cooking class for one adult and a child valued at $499 in total.
