SOPHISCA started in 1997 as Taiwan's first specialized candy store and has opened up several branches there. Those who travel to Taiwan frequently might have came across this candy store selling fun and quirky candies and bought some back to Singapore as souvenirs before.
The original concept of how SOPHISCA came about is that each alphabets stand for something.

Sophisca has created thousands kinds of fun, interesting and creative products such as the shape crafted candy, cotton candy, lollipops, chocolates, health nuts. Along with their creative line of products, Sophisca also came up with their very own DIY customize packaging, such as the candy bouquets. Sophisca's exclusive research & development team and manufacturing plant are based in Taiwan. Cerified with ISO20002 & HACCP, the various types of Chocolate & Candy gifts are produced under the strictest quality control.
Now, the good news is we do not need to fly all the way to Taiwan to get a piece of their candies, they have opened up two branches in Singapore and this is already their 3rd year here.

Together with my sweet friends, we went to attend their blogger party held at one of their Singapore's outlet at Ion Orchard #B4-07, right beside 4 Fingers. (Thanks Jess for sharing this event) There's definitely something for everyone so let me share what's in store for you!
FOR THE MAHJONG LOVERS
Very auspicious tiles. Huat! Huat! Huat! Until somebody makes a joke out of the "自摸" tile. Hahaha.
FOR SABOTAGING YOUR FRIENDS
Chocolate & Strawberry condoms, marshmallow sanitary pads. Can you imagine the expression if you give the sanitary pad to a birthday boy? I wonder what would my reaction be, so far I don't have friends that crazy enough.
FOR THOSE GETTING MARRIED
Wedding couple marshmallow. Could be given out as one door gifts during wedding too. So sweet!
FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTO MEDICATIONS
The next time you feel sick, maybe some sweet "medication" will help.

TRUE WORDS SAY IT ON CHOCOLATE
Each box has a different message on it and is the perfect gift for expressing special moments. Which box appeals to you most? For me, I like the "J" box and the "angel" box. My guardian angel please guide me through this difficult period. Oh, the different colour boxes symbolize different flavours of chocolate too.
Red - Original, Pink - Strawberry, Yellow - Bitter Sweet, Green - Hazelnut, Blue - Black, Teal - Coffee, Lilac - White.
Yes, this is indeed a sweet place for sweet heart.

Here are what I've bought for my wonderful colleagues. Total spending about $30 including one box of fruit gummies which is not in photo. Got myself a Loyalty card. Haha. Next time you are at Ion Orchard, do give this candy store a visit.
