Merry Christmas ~ Dinner at Swensens IMM

Merry Christmas!

These are all the Christmas goodies that I had as early as 14 Dec 2011 and each of them has a story to be told.

1. Original Chocolate cake from Chocolate Origin by CL. Don't be fooled by this plain looking chocolate cake. This is the most expansive and heavenly chocolate cake I've ever tasted. The chocolate is thick and rich and melts in the mouth. Everyone who loves chocolate would love this.

2. X'mas Praline Noel (Hazelnut) log cake from Savoury Fare by Company. To celebrate birthday month of those born in December at our monthly meeting. Ordered by me. Hehe. Guess everyone has already eaten lots of chocolate so decided to go with the Hazelnut flavour. It was very well received, and everyone loved the design too.

3. Gifts of number (4) and (5)

4. Chocolate bunny from J. Cute. Shared it with my parents. Mum thought the whole bunny was made of solid chocolate. Dad thought inside is biscuit but actually inside is hollow so they were all fooled by this bunny.

5. Assorted Cookie from E. Not butter cookie but also taste very nice.

6. Gingerbread Star from XW. Strong taste of ginger but the feeling is like eating mooncake.

7. Box of log cake of number (8). Redeem it from my Maybank credit card.

8. It's a 1 kg Noel Chocolate Classic log cake from Boulangerie™, Festive Hotel® Lobby. Delicious.

9. Mini Oreo from CL. My whole family's favourite snacks.

10. Pizza from Owl. Very nice and creative with the sunny side egg in the middle.

Back to my Christmas dinner. I had a simple and yummy dinner at Swensen IMM with bf. Didn't want to go to anywhere that is too crowded and squeezy and end up so noisy that we can't even have a proper chat. So Swensen at IMM is the best choice. Wonderful meal and we clear our plates spark and clean. :D~ After which, dessert is served. Chocolate Twinkle. So cute it has candycane on top and the ice cream is my favourite Sticky Chewy Chocolate. Makes me very very happy! Read my review here.

Not only that, when we settled our bill, they handed us a gift pack which is full of vouchers inside. 12 vouchers in total but all the same entitlement of $12 off with a minimum of $60 spent and same terms and conditions. One condition makes the vouchers rather useless. Not available on weekends, public holidays and other special occasions. HUH? What do they meant by other special occasions? So the only difference of the 12 vouchers is the months that they can be used. Different colours for different months. I doubt I can used them all up so if anybody want to use on any months can let me know. I will kindly let you have it. Thanks!
