Dinner @ Suntec Sky Garden Turkish Cuisine

I really hate the long walk from the MRT station to Suntec at times like this when I'm in a rush. Noisy, crowded and tired. Luckily, a fulfilling dinner saves the day. Tried something new and that's Turkish Cuisine. The waiters were super friendly perhaps because there's not much patrons. Notice behind us the row of tables are almost empty except for another couple like us. The rest of the other restaurants has got many customers ok. Well, if I am the one deciding where to eat, I probably won't choose to eat here too but don't get me wrong, the foods are great just that too meaty (all the lambs, chicken, bread, rice) and I'm really full to the extreme after eating the appetizer and main course that I decided not to order the dessert.

Humus with bread. This is the appetizers. The humus is like mashed tuna. Did a search on Humus and the answer from Wikipedia was quite shocking.

"Humus (origin: 1790–1800; < Latin: earth, ground)[1] is degraded organic material in soil, which causes some soil layers to be dark brown or black." - from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humus
Hmmm, are we eating soil then? That is what the receipt show! Humus. Err, now I felt a bit disgusted with the mushed tuna looked alike Humus.

Shish kebab chicken

Lamb Shank

Warm apple tea served free of charge. Think it's good for digesting the heavy meal.

  1. You should have searched for "hummus" instead, and get to this page

Also, it's not mashed tuna! it's mashed chickpeas!

I love hummus, I should check out this place!
