Redemption of New Camera + Nonya buffet + Angels and Demons

Happily with the redemption letter in my hand, I went down to the Burlington Square next to Sim Lim Square for my free gift - Canon PowerShot A1100 IS. I thought I could choose the colour of the camera but it all comes in silver. Duh! Would love the pink or blue one.

Realised that it's not much of a difference of my old canon camera except that this don't keep showing "battery flat" sign and also the screen is wider and has got a higher megapixel of 12.1. Duh! I don't really need such a high megapixel actually, it just makes the photos file size so big that I have to adjust manually.

After that went to Sim Lim Square since it's just next to it. We went up to the highest level first because heard that prices at the highest level and the first level are great difference. Saw a shop at the highest level that is willing to buy old laptop. I might wish to sold off my old Toshiba laptop to them. Happy to have found a buyer, wonder how much the laptop is worth now. Bf didn't saw anything he wants in that level so we went down to level 5. Level 5 is more on computer hardwares. The shops are just like competing with one anothers and the shops are really just beside each others. So after you've finished asking for the price in shop A, you step out and went beside, and that's shop B selling the same things but at a different rate. All these shops have a leftlets that shows all the pricing of their items show one. LOL. So we get the leftlets and roughly asked around 5 shops but we didn't buy anything yet. Bf say not urgent to get.

Went out of Sim Lim Square and walked to Bugis Street. Bought a pair of sandels and camera pouch since it's not provided.

Walked until hungry and I was attracted by this

I didn't saw the BIG Buffet word on outside and it was only inside the restaurant I found out it's a buffet style restuarant. Had laksa, mee siam, and lots of the nonya kuehs.

With a full stomach we went back to Bugis to watch "Angels and Demons". I thought I would not understand the story as I've never read the book at all but still ok la, managed to unerstand the plot.

The ambigram - word written in such a way that it is legible both rightside-up and upside-down. Ambigrams are an ancient artform and play heavily into the mysteries of Angels & Demons.

ambi means "both"
gram means "word"
