My last dinner of 2008 was at Vivo City's Secret Recipe with Bf, Lynn Xiao Mei, Miki, Lis and Cindy. Unlike previous years, I had my countdown with a group of friends. Heehee. Thanks to Mediacorp for giving me the tickets to the Vivo City Countdown.
I may look like I'm enjoying this bowl of laksa, but seriously I'm not. Exchange this bowl of Laksa with bf for a more edible lagsana. LOL. My friend was shocked I ordered laksa. She thought I wanted to order lagsana but don't know how to pronounce it. *Faints*
The kids meal is damn cute. See how cute their fries are. Stars and moon shaped one. Why our fries are always the usual, boring rectangular shape huh?
Waiting for our dinner to be served. These two photos are taken before I had my laksa but I'm too lazy to move them up. After dinner, the six of us went to Giant to buy some sweets and mineral water. We were laughing like mad throughout. This can be considered my first time organizing an "Outing" for so many people. Total 8 person, but the other two are still working so they only join us later.
While waiting for our turn to enter, we realised that water bottles are not allowed in. For security reason, they are afraid that maybe we would throw the water bottles at the VIPs. We still blur blur buy 1.5L de mineral water. In the end, have to throw.

The show is a mini competition between the two hottest show airing currently. First group is "Xin Hua Duo Duo Kai". Second group is "Little Nonya". Judging based on how loudly the claps are for the two groups. Little nonya won in the end. Bf supported the other group cause his favourite Felicia Chin is there as group leader. Hoho. Lynn and I supported Little Nonya and we clapped until our hands also turned red. Very funny.
After the countdown from Vivo, we also countdown with those at Marina Bay. Everyone stood up and tried to catch a glimpse of the fireworks through a small opening. LOL. Many people are still facinated by fireworks la.

At last, the countdown is over, truly enjoyed myself. I hope 2009 would be a great year for me, my family and my friends.
