[FOOD] Dine at Sarnies and Enjoy SAVINGS with the Entertainer App

Located along Telok Ayer street, right in the heart of the bustling Central Business District area is Sarnies, a little Aussie cafe bringing out a relaxed and chilled out vibe.

Sarnies was started in 2010 by Ben Lee and to celebrate their six years here, they have decided to launch a brand new dinner menu with rustic flavours to take their usual comfort food to a whole new level.

Sarnies serves hearty Aussie grub and specialty coffee roasted in-house and has always placed great emphasis on providing wholesome meals made from scratch using only fresh and quality ingredients.

Let me now introduced some of the new and existing dishes that will guarantee foodies to have a fantastic and wholesome meal every time!

NEW! Grilled Haloumi Sliders with Onion Jam & Roasted Cherry Tomatoes (Appetiser) $13

Each bun are lovingly kneaded and baked fresh in-house daily and one can also choose Pulled Pork with White Slaw & Homemade Barbeque Sauce for the same price. This makes a good appetiser as the sourness of the onion jam really improves my appetite for more dishes to come.

Spicy Buffalo Wings (Appetiser) $14

Wow! These wings are well marinated with spices. Come challenge your taste buds to the spiciness of the wings. The meat remains tender and juicy.

Pulled Pork Tacos (available as per piece of as a trio) (Appetiser) $8 or $22

Nicely wrapped pulled pork, chilli, coriander, lime & red cabbage. The crunchiness of the cabbage makes this dish very interesting. One piece is good for sharing between two person as the fillings inside are rather big servings and I couldn't finish it all by myself.

NEW! Southern Indian Style Hand-Cut Pappardelle with Prawns, Coconut Milk & Curry Leaves (Main) $19.50

The pasta for this dish is made by hand, cooked al dente to order and coated in a light creamy curry sauce. My favourite dish and it's so creamy we thought cheese were being used. However, I don't quite like the spice seeds which gives off a strong taste when I bite into one.

NEW! Texas Style Burger with Overnight Smoked Brisket, Homemade Barbeque Sauce, Coleslaw & Hand-Cut Wedges (Main) $26.50

Stacking so high is the smokey, tender brisket that it's almost impossible to take one full bite of the burger in a mouthful. I'm not able to give my personal feedback as I don't really take beef but according to my friends, the beef is really juicy and flavourful.

Churros with Chocolate & Salted Caramel Dip (Dessert) $10

Ended our dinner with this sweet dessert which everyone loves.

The menu is specially crafted by Chef Zak (formerly from Open Farm Community) and his culinary team. The brand new dinner menu is now available at Sarnies, Monday to Friday, from 6pm onward.

Having a good time catching up with my blogger friends and enjoying the peacefulness of the night after a delicious dinner. Thank you for having us.
